1) Please fill the blanks with the suitable words that fits the context of daily routine !
His name is Andi. He always wakes up at 05.00 am every day. After taking a bath, he usually
has breakfast at 07.00. Then, he goes to campus by bus. His lectures at the campus usually
start at 08.00. His lectures at campus always start at 08.00 and end at 13:45. In the middle of
the day, he always prays and takes time to rest. If the lecturer is unable to teach, he doesn’t
forget to read any books that can broaden his horizons. Every Saturday, he often visits his
grandparents in the village. Sometimes, he helps them to grow their crops.

2) Please identify the following pieces of song lyrics that indicate the use of the simple past
tense!

3) Describe your plans for the future when you graduate from open university (Universitas Terbuka)
in one paragraph! The paragraph that you make is written as simple as possible and easy to
understand!
When I graduate from an open university I will do useful things that I have done, for example
teaching English every week to people in need for free and taking part-time jobs such as
translating English into Indonesian. Besides that I have a plan to have a small food business,
then the day I will run my own business.

My home garden is (big) bigger than other people's in my residential area. the types of
planted are also (diverse) more diverse. This rose flower is (pretty) prettier than a daisy.
Among other flowers, lavender gives off fragrant aroma. on the other side of the land, you
can see a pine tree that is (tall) taller than a guava tree. but, the taste of guava is (good)
better than star fruit.
