Abstrak
Latar Belakang: Pencabutan gigi atau Ekstraksi gigi merupakan pengeluaran gigi dari
soket tulang alveolar karena gigi tidak dapat direstorasi dan dipertahankan lagi. Penatalaksanaan
ekstraksi gigi tergantung dari hasil pemeriksaan subjektif, objektif, pemeriksaan penunjang serta
pemeriksaan klinis akar gigi dan jaringan penyangganya. Laporan Kasus: Pasien laki-laki berusia
23 tahun mengeluhkan gigi belakang kiri atas terdapat tersisa akar. Keluhan sudah dirasakan sejak
6 tahun yang lalu. Pemeriksaan objektif gigi 24 dengan palpasi dan perkusi negatif. Pemeriksaan
penunjang foto rontgen terdapat area radiopak pada akar yang berjumlah 2 dengan area radiolusen
pada ujung akar. Diagnosis adalah radixes, dan perawatan yang akan dilakukan ekstraksi dengan
anestesi infiltrasi. Hasil: Pada kunjungan kedua dilakukan kontrol pasca pencabutan tidak terdapat
adanya keluhan rasa sakit dan bengkak, dari pemeriksaan objektif terdapat soket yang belum
menutup sempurna dan tidak terdapat perdarahan bekas pencabutan. Kesimpulan: Pencabutan gigi
24 dengan menggunakan Teknik anestesi infiltrasi berhasil dilakukan tanpa adanya keluhan dan
komplikasi yang terjadi.
Abstrack
Background: Tooth extraction or tooth extraction is the removal of teeth from the alveolar
bone socket because the teeth cannot be restored and maintained. The management of tooth
extraction depends on the results of subjective, objective examinations, supporting examinations
and clinical examination of the roots of the teeth and their supporting tissues. Case Report: A 23
year old male patient complained of a radixes on the left upper back tooth. This complaint has been
felt since 6 years ago. Objective examination of tooth 24 by palpation and percussion was negative.
X-ray supporting examination found radiopaque areas on the roots, totaling 2 with radiolucent
areas at the root tips. The diagnosis is radixes, and treatment will be extraction with infiltration
anesthesia. Results: On the second visit, post-extraction control was carried out, there were no
complaints of pain and swelling, from an objective examination, there was a socket that had not
closed completely and there was no bleeding from the extraction. Conclusion: Extraction of tooth
24 using infiltration anesthesia technique was successfully carried out without any complaints or
complications.
