ISPA masih menjadi masalah kesehatan dunia, hampir 4 juta
orang meninggal akibat infeksi saluran pernapasan. Infeksi yang
disebabkan oleh virus dan bakteri di udara terhirup oleh pejamu baru dan
masuk ke saluran pernafasan. Insiden ISPA di negara berkembang 2-10
kali lebih banyak dari pada negara maju. Di LAPAS Narkotika Kelas IIA
Sungguminasa, ISPA merupakan penyakit dengan prevalensi tertinggi.
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis faktor yang
mempengaruhi kejadian ISPA di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Narkotika
Kelas IIA Sungguminasa Kabupaten Gowa Tahun 2021.
Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan
rancangan cross sectional study dan besar sampel adalah 298 WBP
dengan pengambilan sampel secara simple random sampling. Penelitian
ini dilakukan di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Narkotika Kelas IIA
Sungguminasa Gowa dan pengujian sampel dilakukan di Laboratorium
Mikrobiologi Rumah Sakit Universitas Hasanuddin. Analisis data dilakukan
secara univariat, bivariat dengan uji chi-square dan multivariat dengan
regresi logistik.
Hasil analisis bivariat penelitian ini menunjukkan faktor yang
ditemukan berpengaruh terhadap kejadian ISPA di LAPAS Narkotika
Kelas IIA Sungguminasa adalah suhu (p=0,005), kelembaban (p=0,001),
ventilasi (p=0,039), dan pencahayaan (p=0,019). Faktor yang tidak
berpengaruh terhadap kejadian ISPA di LAPAS Narkotika Kelas IIA
Sungguminasa adalah keberadaan bakteri (p=0,295) dan kebiasaan
merokok (p=0,753). Hasil analisis multivariat menunjukkan tidak ada faktor
yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kejadian ISPA di LAPAS Narkotika
Kelas IIA Sungguminasa.
Kesimpulan bahwa adanya pengaruh kejadian ISPA terhadap
lingkungan fisik, diharapkan kepada pihak LAPAS Kelas IIA
Sungguminasa memperhatikan kondisi kamar narapidana agar
tercapainya lingkungan yang sehat bagi narapidana.

Respiratory Infections (ARI) at Class IIA Narcotics Correctional Institution
Sungguminasa, Gowa Regency in 2021 (supervised by Agus Bintara and
Samsualam).
ARI is still a global health problem, almost 4 million people died
from respiratory infections. Infections caused by viruses and bacteria in
the air are inhaled by the new host and enter the respiratory tract. The
incidence of ARI in developing countries is 2-10 times more than in
developed countries. In the Class IIA Sungguminasa Narcotics Prison, ARI
is the disease with the highest prevalence. This study was conducted with
the aim of analyzing the factors that influence the incidence of ARI in the
Narcotics Correctional Institution Class IIA Sungguminasa, Gowa Regency
in 2021.
This research uses quantitative research with cross sectional
study design and the sample size is 298 WBP with simple random
sampling. This research was conducted at the Class IIA Narcoti
cs Correctional Institution Sungguminasa Gowa and sample
testing was carried out at the Microbiology Laboratory of Hasanuddin
University Hospital. Data analysis was performed univariately, bivariately
with chi-square test and multivariate with logistic regression.
The results of the bivariate analysis of this study showed that the
factors found to have an effect on the incidence of ARI in Narcotics Prison
Class IIA Sungguminasa were temperature (p=0.005), humidity (p=0.001),
ventilation (p=0.039), and lighting (p=0.019). Factors that did not affect the
incidence of ARI in Narcotics Prison Class IIA Sungguminasa were the
presence of bacteria (p=0,295) and smoking habits (p=0,753). The results
of the multivariate analysis showed that there was no factor that had the
most influence on the incidence of ARI at the Class IIA Sungguminasa
Narcotics Prison.
The conclusion that there is an effect of the incidence of ARI on
the physical environment, it is hoped that the Class IIA Sungguminasa
prison will pay attention to the condition of the prisoners' rooms in order to
achieve a healthy environment for prisoners.
