or an idea (untuk menyetujui atau
tidak setuju dengan saran atau ide)

‫ َو َلَك َم ا َخ َت َيا َم ْع ن‬، ‫َلَك َم ا َنَو ْيَت َيا َيِزيُد‬

Artinya: “Engkau dapati apa yang engkau niatkan wahai Yazid.

Sedangkan, wahai Ma’an, engkau boleh mengambil apa yang

Asking and Stating Agreeing and Grammar:

One's Intention Disagreeing Will and Be Going to
 What is intention?
Intention adalah sebuah tujuan atau visi yang
menuntun aktivitas, pikiran, sikap dan pilihan.
Berarti, expressing intention memiliki arti yaitu
mengungkapkan maksud, harapan atau niat.
Ekspresi ini termasuk sebuah ungkapan yang belum
pernah terjadi karena ungkapan ini masih berbentuk
dalam sebuah rencana atau harapan. Untuk
mengungkapkan sebuah intention, biasanya digunakan
simple future tense.
 Unsur Kebahasaan
To
“To” yang berarti untuk/supaya,
biasanya diikuti dengan Verb bentuk
pertama atau be. Berikut ini adalah
contoh dari kalimat to :
We should eat enough
vegetable, fruit, rice, meat, egg,
fish, tofu, and tempe to be
healthy.
In order to
“In order to” berarti supaya/agar,
biasanya setelah frasa ini
kemudian diikuti dengan Verb atau
be untuk nominal sentence. Berikut
ini adalah contoh kalimat dari in

So that
“So that” berarti sehingga, biasanya
setelah frasa ini diikuti oleh subjek.
Berikut ini adalah contoh dari kalimat
