 what is simple sentence?
Simple sentences are one type of sentences that are
categorized based on their structure. Among other
types of sentences, the simple sentence type is the
simplest and easiest to apply.

There are several things you can
do to identify simple
sentences, here are the points!
Simple sentences must have at least one subject and one
predicate that is used to describe the action of the
"subject".
There is only one clause in a simple sentence.
Look at the conjunctions! If you find a subordinating
conjunction in a sentence, then it is certain that it is not a
simple sentence, but a complex sentence.
As a sentence that contains an independent clause, a simple
sentence has a complete thought/idea. So, when a clause
ends with a punctuation mark, there is no need for a
supporting statement to convey the message/idea.
