2. Diagram 2.1 shows a pendulum oscillating at its maximum displacement. The


amplitude of the oscillation keep on decreasing and then finally, the oscillation
come to a stop.
Diagram 2.2 shows the displacement-time graph for the oscillating system.

monochromatic light of red colour is allowed to pass through the double slit.

in Form 4 but less mentioned in Chapter 1 of Form 5.

The existing question in the workbook (Form 5, Chapter 1, Structured Question


No.1 ) is more comprehensive compared to this SPM question.

So, it is suggested that the existing question (Form 5, Chapter 1, Structured


Question No.1 ) is retained by just adding a label of “SPM 2010” to the question.

10. Diagram 10.1 shows the red fringes formed in a Young’s double slit
experiment.

Diagram 10.2 shows the green fringes formed when the red light of wavelength

(b) Diagram 10.3 shows a train in a tunnel. The sound waves from the train can
be heard loudly and clearly at night.
