Salah satu hal yang paling mudah untuk dilakukan sekarang adalah membuat janji pertemuan dengan
dokter langganan Anda. Tanpa perlu pergi ke rumah sakit atau klinik terlebih dahulu, Anda bisa
mengatur jadwal pertemuan dengan dokter ketika dibutuhkan. Sebagai contohnya, berikut ini adalah
contoh percakapan membuat janji pertemuan dengan dokter dalam bahasa Inggris.

Resepsionis: Good afternoon, this is Jakarta International Hospital. How may I help you? (Selamat siang,
ini Jakarta International Hospital. Ada yang bisa saya bantu?)

Bayu: Good afternoon. I’d like to make an appointment to see the general practitioner please. (Selamat
siang. Saya ingin membuat janji pertemuan untuk bertemu dengan dokter umum, tolong)

Resepsionis: Have you ever been admitted into this hospital before, sir? (Apakah Andapernah dirawat di
rumah sakit ini sebelumnya, pak?)

Bayu: No, I have never been admitted there before. (Tidak, saya belum pernah dirawat di sana
sebelumnya)

Resepsionis: Alright, I will just need your name to make the appointment for now. (Baiklah, saya hanya
membutuhkan nama Anda untuk membuat janji pertemuan untuk sekarang)

Bayu: My name is Bayu Dimas. (Nama saya Bayu Dimas)

Resepsionis: There is a free schedule for today at 3:00 this afternoon. Would that be okay with you?

Bina: I just wanted to ask some questions about the cost in this hospital.

Bina: My name is Bina and I have this thyroid problem. I’ve checked myself with Dr. Hari but
in another hospital. He also practices here, right?

 Bina: Yes, last week. He checked on my thyroid problem and said that I would need an
operation to take out the bump. I had wanted to have the operation in Rumah Sakit Harapan, but with
or without insurance, the waiting list is pretty long. They have a lot of patients there.

(Iya, minggu lalu. Beliau memeriksa masalah tiroid saya dan katanya saya perlu dioperasi untuk

untuk operasi tiroid di rumah sakit ini?)

Nurse: Well, it really depends on the kind of operation Miss. I can’t say how much exactly, but
it’s around thirty million rupiahs. And that doesn’t include the room, medicine, and doctor’s visitation.
But it may vary, depends on the severeness of the case and what kind of operation the doctor chooses
to do.

(Sebenarnya tergantung pada jenis operasinya, Bu. Saya tidak bisa bilang berapa tepatnya, tapi mungkin
sekitar tiga puluh juta rupiah. Dan itu belum termasuk biaya kamar, obat, dan kunjungan dokter. Tapi

Nurse: More or less a week Miss. Depends on the patient’s reaction toward the treatment. We
have to check on Dr. Hari again for your case. If you want, I can book an appointment with him, maybe
this afternoon?

(Kurang lebih seminggu, Bu. Tergantung pada reaksi pasien terhadap pengobatan. Kami harus mengecek
