Dengan hormat,

Badan Kejuruan Mesin Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia (BKM-PII), akan menyelenggarakan program Pelatihan
online menggunakan Zoom, dengan topik; PROJECT MECHANICAL ENGINEERING ON POWER PIPING (ASME
B31.1). Program pelatihan ini dilaksanakan selama 6 kali pertemuan, masing masing selama 3 jam, dengan
penyampaian menggunakan bahasa Indonesia.

Pelatihan ini lebih pembahasan kasus (case study) , sehingga para peserta dapat lebih memehani dan
mengerti tentang Power Piping, sehingga perlu diikuti oleh; para Engineers, Manager, Supervisor, Project
Engineer, Lead Engineer, Project Manager, Designer, dan pihak yang terlibat langsung dalam perancangan
dan perencanaan, operasional dan maintenance Power Piping. Pelatihan ini juga memiliki nilai
Pengembangan Keprofesionalan Berkelanjutan (PKB) yang diperlukan bagi pemegang Sertifikasi Insinyur
Profesional (SIP), untuk bahan laporan PKB setiap tahunnya.

PROJECT MECHANICAL ENGINEERING ON POWER PIPING

(ASME B31.1)

WHAT IS THIS ?
One of the most important equipment on processing plant (oil and gas and power plant) is piping.
The piping consist of many faces, such as power piping, process piping, pipeline in many fluids
(liquids or gasses). Rules has been developed considering into Power Piping found in electrical
power generating stations, industrial, and institusional plants, geothermal heating systems and
central heating and cooling systems.
The terms of power piping generally refers to the system of pipes that transport fluids (e.g. fuels,
chemicals, industrial gases, etc.) around an industrial facility involved in the manufacture of
products or in the generation of power. It also is used to describe utility piping systems (e.g., air,
steam, water, compressed air, fuels etc.) that are used in, or in support of the industrial process.
Also, certain drainage piping, where corrosive or toxic fluids are being transported and severe
conditions may be present, or where it is simply outside the scope of plumbing codes, is also
sometimes classified as process piping.
This training is focused on discussing and understanding engineering piping B31.1 Power Piping,
accompanied by case study in some engineering execution, so that the participants understand
correctly the material and the implementation in the field.
This training should be followed by designers, engineers, analysts, piping contractors, piping
operators, public safety officials, regulatory authorities concerned and have relation with power
piping. The basics on piping design, construction and maintenance will be provided and will be
discussed during the training

WHAT YOU GET IT ?

o To IDENTIFY the design, cause, and impact piping and associated equipment related ASME
B31.1.
o To PROVIDE a framework for Piping design and execution related ASME B31.1.
o To DESCRIBE the role and structure of the Piping Sizing staging and procedures effectives
and efficient related ASME B31.1.
o To IDENTIFY the code and standart related ASME B31.1.

WHAT BENEFIT ?
The objective of this course are :
1. Participants know and having capability to identification and execute Piping Sizing and
Engineering Management, on related ASME B31.1.
2. Participants know and solving case study on Piping Engineering and Execution
Management, on related ASME B31.1.
3. Participants have capability to describing and designing Piping on related ASME B31.1.

WHO IS THE INSTRUCTOR ?

1. Hilman Ahmad & Associates is an independent consultant in mining, and oil & gas industry,
who manage the Education Center for Professionals. The Director himself has been
practicing production operation, safety, and corrosion control engineering in Indonesia for
more than twenty-five years. He post-graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology
 (sponsored by UNESCO) in 1977. He joined in-field-practice program at Nippon Kokan Steel
Company & Research Center Kawasaki, Japan, for production facility, design &
construction, and corrosion prevention & control in 1983, and collaborated with Cormon
Industrial Research Center, Brighton, UK, for integrity on-line corrosion monitoring
development in 2000. He has been delivering consultative course in production operation,
maintenance, safety, piping, and pipeline (onshore and offshore) and corrosion control for
personnel from oil, gas, & mining company and petrochemical industry since 1979.
2. Muhammad Ade Irfan, IPM, QRMP, CIPM is a professional engineer with experience on
Project Management onshore – offshore, more than 20 years, involve in many fields oil and
gas, and geothermal.

WHEN AND WHERE IMPORTANT

Training scheduled ZOOM Online, with every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 3 times a week,
every 08.00 – 11.00 WIB/day.
