B. TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN
Setelah mempelajari materi ini, Kalian diharapkan dapat:
1. Mengucapkan ulang setiap kata dari beberapa teks resep makanan/minuman dan manual
dengan ucapan dan tekanan kata yang benar;
2. Menganalisisi struktur nomina yang digunakan untuk menyebutkan benda-benda;
3. Menganalisis struktur kalimat yang menyebutkan langkah kerja;
4. Membacakan dengan suara lantang, dengan ucapan dan tekanan kata yang benar terkait resep
makanan/minuman dan manual;
5. Menyalin resep makanan/minuman dari buku resep dengan ditulis tangan dan kemudian
ditempel di dinding kamar;
6. Menangkap makna secara kontekstual terkait fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur
kebahasaan teks prosedur lisan dan tulis sangat pendek dan sederhana dalam bentuk resep
makanan/minuman dan manual.
C. PETUNJUK PEMBELAJARAN
Anak-anak, pokok bahasan kita kali ini tentang Teks Prosedur (Procedure Text). Untuk
mencapai tujuan pembelajaran, silahkan kalian baca uraian materi yang tersedia dan pahamilah
pembahasannya melalui contoh-contoh yang ada. Jika ada yang tidak kalian pahami, silahkan tanya
pada saat KBM berlangsung.
Kemudian lakukanlah pendalaman materi dengan memperhatikan dan mengerjakan latihan-
latihan yang disediakan selama KBM berlangsung. Kerjakan soal tes pengetahuan dan tugas
kelompok untuk mendapatkan nilai pengetahuan dan keterampilan.

Definition of Procedure Text (Definisi Teks Prosedur)
Ada beberapa definisi atau pengertian Procedure Text, diantaranya:
- Procedure text is the text that tells us how something is done through steps or action.

(Teks Prosedur adalah teks yang memberitahu kita bagaimana sesuatu dikerjakan melalui
langkah-langkah atau tindakan.)
- Procedure text is a text that gives some clues of how to do something through a series of
action.
(Teks Prosedur ialah teks yang memberi petunjuk tentang cara melakukan sesuatu melalui
rangkaian tindakan.)
- A procedure text is used to tell someone how to do or make something.
(Teks Prosedur digunakan untuk memberitahu orang tentang cara melakuakan atau
membuat sesuatu.)
Social Function of Procedure Text (Fungsi Sosial Teks Prosedur)
Social function of procedure text is to tell or instruct the readers or hearers about how
to do or make something through a series of action.
(Fungsi sosial dari Teks Prosedur ialah untuk memberi tahu atau memberi petunjuk kepada
pembaca atau pendengar tentang cara melakukan atau membuat sesuatu melalui serangkaian
langkah-langkah yang berurutan.)
Characteristics of Procedure Text (Ciri-ciri Teks Prosedur)
Berikut ini beberapa ciri Teks Prosedur:

Berikut ini contoh resep makanan/minuman:
Food Recipe (Resep Makanan)
How to Make Fried Banana
Ingredients:
• 4 ripe plantain
• 1 tsp. sugar
• 1 egg
• 6 tbs. flour
• a pinch of salt
• water
• vegetable oil for deep frying
Note:
- tsp : tea spoon (sendok teh)
- tbs : table spoon (sendok makan)
Steps/ Instruction:
1. Place flour in a deep mixing bowl. Make a well in the middle of the flour, and add egg,
sugar and salt. Add water little by little. Whisk vigorously until batter is evenly smooth
for coating and not too thin. If it is too thin, add more flour.
2. Peel plantain or banana and cut in half lengthwise and then cut again with 4-inch
width. Dip into batter to coat generously.
3. Heat oil in a wok or deep fryer until moderately hot. Place coated plantain or banana
in the wok or deep fryer and fry slowly until golden brown and crispy. This usually take
approximately 10-15 minutes. Remove bananas from oil, drain on paper napkins and
dry well.
4. Serve while still warm
Steps:
1. Brew Tea bag in 50 ml of hot water.
2. Add sugar, and then stir until evenly distributed.
3. Squeeze the lemon. Then, pour lemon juice into the tea.
4. Add ice cubes and add 150 ml of cold water.
5. Stir until the lemon juice mixes with the tea.
6. Add lemon slices as decoration.
7. Ice Lemon Tea is ready to serve.
