Abstract
This study aims to analyze the causes and impacts of harsh language among Islamic boarding
school students. Harsh language refers to the use of offensive and disrespectful words or
phrases. The research focuses on identifying the influential factors that contribute to the use of
such language among students. The study utilizes qualitative research methods, including
interviews and observations, to gather data from Islamic boarding school students. The findings
reveal several factors that influence the use of harsh language, including peer influence, social
media, and the environment. These factors have significant impacts on students' behavior and
relationships within the boarding school community. The study highlights the need for
interventions and strategies to address the issue of harsh language among Islamic boarding
school students, promoting a respectful and harmonious learning environment.
