MATERI II
TENSES DASAR DALAM KOMUNIKASI UMUM
BASIC TENSES FOR GENERAL COMMUNICATION

Capaian Pembelajaran : Mahasiswa mengenal tenses dasar yang biasa dipergunakan dalam
komunikasi sehari-hari seperti melakukan perintah, menunjukkan arah
lokasi dan membuat kalimat sederhana.
Pertemuan : 1. Pengenalan Tense
2. Penggunaan dalam bertanya, memerintahkan melakukan sesuatu ;
bertanya ; memohon.

Simple Present Tense : S + Verb (I) + Sign Time.


Time Sign : Now, Everyday

Simple Past Tense : S + Verb (II) + Sign Time.


Time Sign : Just now, Yesterday, Last week

Future Tense : S + Will/Shall + Verb (I) + Sign Time


Time Sign : Next time, tomorrow, next week, etc

Present Continous Tense : S + Verb (Ing) + Sign Time.

What is you use to ask something ?

 Menanyakan sesuatu (Asking about something)


 Menanyakan ya/tidak (Asking that will be answered with “ yes or not)
 Meminta sesuatu dengan sopan (Asking something politely)

You can use Interrogative :

Mary : Ha ha ha. I think because he left legacy of thought for Indonesia and
the world.

God, who has guided and learned us from darkness to the brightness, from the stupidity to
intelegence.

Dear brothers and Sisters,

Which one do you like, on line study or offline study ? I am sure that you must of you like
online study ? Because it can make you dont need much money. On the contrary, offstudy can
make you busy. But, is it true ?
Ladies and gentlemen.

Study is important for you, on line or off line, both have their respective advantages and
disadvantages.
kelebihan and kekurangan. Same of both, you must concentrate in your materi. And its
problem, in offline you will find many problem. The examples, you can not ask well, because
it is difficult to do it. In offline, you must spend your money for transportation and you must
eat in campus. Do you agree with my opinion. Online offers practicality. Can save costs and
time.
Offline offers a good relationship between lecturers and students. Learning is more intimate
and lecturers can monitor students' conditions.
I think Each option has its own advantages and disadvantages. he same thing online, even
though it seems practical, also has different problems that you have to overcome. Some
students complained because they could not understand the lesson well. Actually, both can be
combined to get better learning benefits. We can use online methods for additional lessons,
for example.
