menyelenggarakan Post Graduate Symposium 2022 dengan tema “Penggunaan Sumber Daya
Digital pada Pendidikan Pascasarjana Kedokteran dan Kesehatan”. Kegiatan ini akan
diselenggarakan secara luring pada tanggal 12 dan 13 Agustus 2022.

A. Judul Kegiatan
Postgraduate Symposium 2022 – Penggunaan Sumber Daya Digital pada Pendidikan
Pascasarjana Kedokteran dan Kesehatan
B. Latar Belakang
Salah satu tujuan penyelenggaraan pendidikan pascasarjana bidang kedokteran dan
kesehatan adalah untuk mengembangkan praktik di tempat kerja. Mahasiswa dituntut untuk
mengembangkan keahlian klinis mereka yang mereka peroleh melalui praktik aktif. Salah satu
media pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah penggunaan sumber daya digital pada setiap
kegiatan belajar mengajar.
Kesehatan digital (digital health), istilah umum yang didefinisikan secara luas sebagai
penggunaan teknologi digital untuk kesehatan, telah semakin menjadi bagian terpadu dari
praktik perawatan kesehatan. Kesehatan digital telah dikembangkan sebagai sarana untuk
meningkatkan penyampaian dan akses untuk perawatan kesehatan Media yang bisa
dimanfaatkan oleh peserta didik, antara lain: catatan kesehatan elektronik (EHR), telehealth,
teknologi kesehatan seluler dan yang dapat dipakai (mHealth), dan kecerdasan buatan (AI).
AI sudah semakin banyak digunakan dalam praktik klinis, dan telah divalidasi untuk mis.
pengenalan gambar, identifikasi tumor, diferensiasi sindrom pernapasan, dll. Aplikasi ponsel
cerdas dan teknologi mHealth lainnya juga telah diperkenalkan sebagai alat skrining dan
pemantauan untuk berbagai penyakit, termasuk kesehatan mata, kesehatan mental, dan
berbagai penyakit kronis. Dengan demikian, teknologi kesehatan digital memainkan peran
yang semakin penting dalam praktik klinis.
Pandemi Covid-19 telah mempercepat tren kesehatan digital, khususnya terkait telehealth
dan telemonitoring pasien yang tidak dapat mengakses penyedia layanan kesehatan biasa
mereka. Sementara implementasi kesehatan digital sejauh ini sangat heterogen, potensi
kesehatan digital sangat besar. Namun, pemenuhan potensi ini tergantung pada tenaga
kesehatan masa depan yang kompeten dan nyaman dengan penggunaannya.

C. Tujuan
1. Sebagai forum mahasiswa pascasarjana untuk berdiskusi bersama dalam tema terkait
2. Mendiskusikan strategi penggunaan sumber daya digital yang tepat guna dalam proses
belajar mengajar
3. Mendiskusikan isu-isu etik penggunaan sumber daya digital dalam layanan
kedokteran dan kesehatan
4. Meningkatkan kemampuan peserta dalam menyampaikan ide dan gagasan dengan
menggunakan bahasa popular kepada khalayak umum
D. Target dan Sasaran
Peserta merupakan mahasiswa pasacasarjana (S2, S3, program pendidikan dokter
spesialis) dari FK-KMK UGM, fakultas lain di UGM, serta universitas mitra dari dalam
dan luar negeri. Kegiatan ini turut mengundang:

Kegiatan dikemas dalam 4 (empat) format yang berbeda, yaitu:
1. Kuliah umum
Peserta akan mengikuti kuliah umum dari keynote speaker tentang penggunaan
sumber daya digital pada pelaksanaan pendidikan kedokteran dan kesehatan dari
perspektif pemerintah dan akademisi. Topik kuliah umum, antara lain:
a. Kebijakan tentang digitalisasi pendidikan kedokteran dan kesehatan
b. Konversi luaran pembelajaran dari pembelajaran konvensional ke modern
2. Simposium
Peserta akan mengikuti 2 sesi simposium terkait penggunaan sumber daya digital
dalam pembelajaran jenjang pascasarjana serta isu terkait pemanfaatan platform,
digital yang berkaitan dengan kode etik pendidikan. Topik yang akan diangkat dalam
simposium, antara lain:
a. Digital learning perceived by postgraduate students
b. Digital student assessment & decision making
c. Penggunaan LMS dan/ MOOC
d. Personalized learning
e. Pengembangan media pembelajaran tingkat lanjut: AR/VR/MR, interactive game
f. Penggunaan media sosial dalam pendidikan kedokteran dan kesehatan
g. Media pembelajaran digital
3. Debat terbuka (4 sesi)
a. Peserta
1. Peserta debat terbuka terdiri dari perwakilan 34 program studi pascasarjana
(S2, S3, PPDS-1, dan PPDS-2)
2. Peserta akan terbagi menjadi kelompok yang terdiri dari 4 mahasiswa secara
acak
3. Setiap 2 kelompok akan mendebatkan 1 topik dengan berlandaskan evidence-
based yang kemudian disampaikan dengan menggunakan bahasa populer.
b. Mosi debat
1. Apakah pendidikan kedokteran dan kesehatan perlu mengenalkan telehealth?
2. Penggunaan robot dalam pendidikan kedokteran dan kesehatan: Apakah akan
menggantikan peran manusia?

4. FK-KMK Research Pitch Contest
Kompetisi presentasi hasil riset dalam waktu 3 menit yang diikuti oleh mahasiswa
pascasarjana (S2, PPDS, dan S3) dihadapan dewan juri dan penonton dengan berbagai
macam latar belakang. Kompetisi ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan
diseminasi hasil penelitian pada kalangan civitas akademika dan masyarakat umum.
Kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan dengan ketentuan sebagai berikut:
a. Tema: Disesuaikan dengan hasil riset peserta
b. Peserta:
1. Peserta merupakan mahasiswa aktif jenjang pascasarjana (magister, doktor,
atau PPDS)
2. Perwakilan setiap program studi S2, PPDS, dan S3 di lingkungan FK-KMK
UGM dengan maksimal delegasi 3 orang/program studi
c. Jenis konten presentasi (memilih salah satu):

Debate Guideline

A. Program Description
FK-KMK UGM re-organizes activities to improve the academic climate at the
postgraduate level in responding to current issues by holding a debate competition between
postgraduate students. The debate demands that participants are not only capable express ideas,
but also demanding participants able to master global knowledge, analyze, make judgments,
and convince the public. In debate, participants will be faced with real problems faced by a
society or nation. Participants must be able to position and convince the public that their
position is correct and precise. Hence, the debate is the right medium in training negotiation
skills and argumentation of participations on an international scale.
B. Objectives
1. Explore a policy issue deeply and really engage in and respond to arguments
2. To give an insight about the issues regarding use of use of digital resources in medical
and health postgraduate education
3. Develop participants' ability to express opinions logically and systematically

1. Introductory speeches for both sides of the issue
2. Short answers to every major argument that you can predict for either side
3. A list of questions to ask your opponents
4. Evidentiary support for your main arguments

D. Debate Mechanism
Each team will be given 1 topic and have 7 days to prepare for the debate. You are expected
to prepare both sides of the debate, in other words the affirmative/propositions and
negative/oppositions, for your topic. In the end of the workshop and briefing sessions, we will
draw lots to determine which team will debate the propositions and oppositions. You will find
that by preparing both sides of the debate, you will be much better able to predict the arguments
of your opponents.
The debate grade will be based on:
1. The research materials that your team submits before your debate as a group (grade
by the team instructor)
2. Your performance in the debate, which includes not just your speaking style, but your
evidence, your analysis, and your ability to think critically about the material (grade
by the audience or jury and commentator)
E. General Rules for The Debate
1. Debate competition component:
a. Debate teams: affirmative team and negative team
b. Commentator: give comment regarding the argument of each team
c. Moderator: lead the debate competition and timekeeper
d. Jury or audience: all other group which are not the affirmative or negative team
2. The moderator will remind you again the rules for the debate competition and the
topics to be debated before the debate begin.
3. The order of speeches:
a. Affirmative first speaker speech (3 minutes)
- Open the debate by introduction the affirmative speakers
- Present the first affirmative argument uses supporting facts, statistics, quotes
during his speech
b. Negative first speaker speech (3 minutes)
- Introducing the negative speakers
- Present the first opposition argument uses supporting facts, statistics, quotes
during his speech
c. Affirmative second speaker speech (3 minutes)

- Defeats the negative arguments with counter arguments, quotes, facts
- Defends the negative arguments WITHOUT ADDING ANY NEW
INFORMATION, in a summative speech

4. The commentators will give comment for the argument delivered by each group (10
minutes)
5. In the end of the debate all the audience should vote which team is more convincing
and better in delivering their arguments

Research Pitch Contest (RPC) Guideline

A. Program Description
The competition for presenting research results within 3 minutes which was participated
by postgraduate students (master, residency, and doctoral) in front of a jury and audience with
various backgrounds. This competition is designed to improve the ability to disseminate
research results among the academic community and the general public.
B. Objectives
1. Improving students' ability to convey research results to the general public
2. Improve public speaking skills
3. As a medium for disseminating research results
4. Improve the academic atmosphere in the postgraduate student environment
C. Participants
1. Participants are postgraduate students (master, residency, and doctoral) active
in higher education at national or overseas countries
2. Participants come from cluster educational backgrounds: agro, social-humanities,
medical, and science-technology
3. Send an active student information as evidenced by: student identification card, study
result card, and study plan card
4. Send 1 page of curriculum vitae
5. Submit abstract and video (details in Point D). The research that will be presented is
research that has been completed during the abstract collection period. For research
that is in progress, participants can provide information about the expected results of
the research.
6. The research submitted is research that has never been presented in scientific
activities/published before
7. Participants can choose to use Bahasa or English
8. Participants follow and obey the rules and agenda for the RPC timeline
9. Participants fill out the online registration form
D. RPC Mechanism – Abstract and Video Submission
1. Participants choose one of this kind of research that has been done:

2. Participant send abstract with content:

3. Participant create presentation material in 1 slide that consist of all part of research
that has been done. Presentation slides are static slides, do not contain animations,
song backgrounds, or other moving images.
4. Participant makes short video (maximum 3 minutes) that show the presentation
material. Participant can use Zoom or another platform that can show slide and
presenter’s face at the same display

5. Participants are not allowed to use property, such as costume, music instrument, or
another lab instruments.
E. RPC Mechanism – Final Round
1. Final round will be held offline at FK-KMK UGM and online for those participants
who can’t attend directly

 2. Finalists can use Bahasa or English for delivering pitch
3. Maximum duration of presentation is 3 minutes. If it exceeds the duration of the
presentation time, there will be a deduction of value (penalty)
4. Final round will be live streaming at YouTube Channel FKKMK UGM Official
5. Finalists make 1 slide that doesn’t consist of animation, music background, transition,
or moving images.
6. Participants are not allowed use supported instrument, such as laser pointer, costume,
music instrument, or another instruments
7. Timer will be begin when finalist open the pitch. Moderator will give reminder on
minute 2’00’’ and 2’50’’ using microphone
F. Grading
The assessment of RPC is based on the following components:
