Apa sih itu Pompa ?
pompa adalah mesin yang digunakan untuk
memindahkan liquid (cairan) dari satu tempat ke
tempat lain, melalui suatu media pipa (saluran)
dengan cara menambah energi pada cairan,
yang dipindahkan dan berlangsung secara kontinyu

Pompa piston memanfaatkan gerakan
maju mundurnya piston sebagai
penggerak masuk keluarnya suatu fluida
Prinsip Kerja Pompa Piston :

Pompa piston mempunyai bagian utama berupa

torak yang bergerak bolak- balik didalam
silinder.
Fluida masuk melalui katup isap (suction valve)
ke dalam silinder dan kemudian ditekan oleh
piston, sehingga tekanan statis fluida naik dan
sanggup mengalirkan fluida keluar melalui
katup tekan (discharge valve).
Pompa Plunger
Pompa plunger merupakan suatu silinder
baja yang panjang, packingnya terletak ko
nstan (stationary) pada bagian dalam dari
silindernya.
Prinsip Kerja Pompa Plungger :

Prinsip kerja pompa ini hampir sama dengan pompa

piston, hanya saja tidak digunakan piston, melainkan di
gunakan silinder baja yang panjang atau biasa disebut
plunger. Fluida masuk melalui dua arah yang
berlawanan, yang pertama masuk melalui katup isap
pada bagian bawah, sedangkan yang kedua fluida
masuk ketika plunger tersebut ditekan. Plunger tersebut
dihubungkan oleh sebuah batang sehingga bergerak
serempak dan fluida juga dapat masuk secara bersama
an dari arah yang berlawanan. Kemudian karena tekan
an pada bagian katup buang lebih tinggi maka fluida
akan terdorong ke atas dan keluar melalui katup buang
tersebut.
Pompa Diafragma / Membran
Pompa diafragma merupakan pompa yang
pembesaran dan pengecilan ruang dalam
rumah pompa disebabkan oleh membran
 Prinsip Kerja Pompa Diagfragma :

Sisi-sisi diafragma dihubungkan dengan baut pada

satu sisi dari flange. Ketika diafraghm mengempis,
maka fluida akan terhisap masuk, sedangkan ketika
diafragma mengembang, fluida akan terdorong ke
luar melalu katup buang. Hal tersebut terjadi karena
adanya perbedaan tekanan antar katup buang
dengan katup isap. Katup buang memiliki tekanan
yang lebih tinggi bila dibandingkan pada katup isap.
Pompa ini biasanya digunakan untuk memindahkan
fluida yang bersifat korosif.
