Permasalahan sampah organik banyak kita temukan dalam

kehidupan sehari hari, baik dari sampah bekas dedaunan dan
rerumputan serta lainnya dibuang ke tempat penampungan sampah.
Hal ini akan menimbulkan bau yang kurang sedap selain itu juga
bernampak negatif pada lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat
sekitar.
Selama ini proses pengolahan pupuk kompos yang dilakukan
masyarakat setempat pada umumnya masih melakukan proses
pengolahan pupuk kompos secara tradisional denga cara seadanya
dan sering timbulnya parasit pada saat pembusukan yang sedang
diproses menjadi pupuk jadi mengakibatkan turunnya kualitas pupuk
tersebut dikarenakan mereka mengalami kendala untuk membeli
mesin pengolah sampah organik karena biaya yang tinggi.

Pengering hybrid pada penelitian ini menggunakan sumber energi
matahari dengan bantuan solar kolektor dan energi bahan bakar gas.
Pengeringan menggunakan energi hybrid relatif lebih singkat yaitu 8,5-
13 jam sedangkan pengeringan secara tradisional membutuhkan waktu
selama 3 hari dengan kondisi cuaca cerah dan intensitas cahaya
matahari yang tinggi.
Alat pengering ikan tenaga surya sistem bongkar pasang ini sangat
mudah dalam bongkar-pasangnya, mudah dalam penyimpanan serta
lebih tahan lama dibanding dengan alat pengering dengan bahan dasar
kayu dan bisa menggunakan kompor sebagai sumber panas lainnya.
Dengan dimensi 80 cm x 80 cm x 188,2 cm alat pengering ikan ini
dapat menampung ikan sampai 8-9 kg, jika ikan yang sudah dibelah
dihampar di plat alumunium pada tiap rak dan bila digantung ditiap
rak, maka bisa mencapai 15-16 kg dengan jenis ikan layang yang
berukuran panjang berkisar antara 23-25 cm dan berat 147-150 gr/ekor.
RUMUSAN MASALAH
Bagaimanakah proses fabrikasi pada
1 perancangan mesin alat pencacah dan
pengaduk pupuk kompos tipe horizontal ?

Apakah dengan adanya mesin pencacah

dan pengaduk pupuk kompos ini nanti
2 dapat meningkatkan hasil produksi dari
pupuk kompos ?

Berapa jumlah kapasitas yang mampu

 BATASAN MASALAH
Penelitian berfokus melakukan proses perakitan
dari mesin produksi pencacah dan pengaduk 1
pupuk kompos sesuai dengan rancangan.

Perhitungan getaran yang terjadi pada mesin 2

tidak dilakukan.

Kapasitas mesin pencacah dan pengaduk pupuk

kompos tipe horizontal yang difabrikasi berkapasitas 3
50 kg/jam.
TUJUAN MASALAH

menghasilkan mesin pencacah dan pengaduk pupuk kompos yang lebih baik.
TINJAUAN PUSTAKA
Fabrikasi merupakan sebuah istilah yang di gunakan dalam
manufaktur, fabrikasi juga sering di gunakan dalam suatu produksi
yang bisa di artikan juga sebagai suatu proses manipulasi bahan
mentah menjadi suatu mesin ataupun komponen mesin yang
berguna. Istilah fabrikasi ini berasal dari kata fabrication yang
berarti pengerjaan, pada proses fabrikasi bahan yang sangat sering
di gunakan adalah logam karena mesin sekarang pada umumnya
memiliki komponen-komponen yang terbuat dari logam
Secara universal Fabrikasi adalah suatu rangkaian pekerjaan
dari beberapa komponen material baik berupa plat, pipa ataupun
baja profil dirangkai dan dibentuk secara tahap demi tahap
berdasarkan item-item tertentu hingga menjadi suatu bentuk yang
dapat dipasang menjadi sebuah rangkaian alat produksi maupun
konstruksi

 DESAIN MESIN
Mesin pencacah dan pengaduk pupuk
kompos merupakan mesin pengolah sampah
yang berfungsi untuk mencacah dan
mengaduk sampah organik menjadi ukuran
yang lebih kecil dan diaduk untuk diolah
menjadi pupuk kompos.
Prinsip kerjanya Pada saat motor dihidupkan
akan memutarkan sabuk-V melaui pulley
putaran dan akan diteruskan ke poros
pencacah di area pencacah lalu menuju
saluran kedalam tangki. Dan putaran pulley
melalui sabuk-V menuju Gearbox. Gearbox
(Speed Reducer) meneruskan putaran pada
poros pengaduk yang telah berisi sampah
organik hasil dari proses awal pencacahan
sampah. Gerakan akan berlangsung secara
terus menerus selama motor berputar

WAKTU
Waktu pelaksanaan pengujian performa mesin pencacah dan pengaduk pupuk
kompos akan di lakukan setelah usulan proposal penelitian telah disetujui.
Selanjutnya penulis akan mempersiapkan semua yang dibutuhkan untuk digunakan
dalam pengambilan data serta penyusulan laporan. Penelitian ini dimulai pada
Oktober 2021 yang diawali dengan penelusuran dan literatur lalu berlanjut secara
bertahap selama 7 bulan
