“Saya bisa merasakan apa yang tokoh utama cerita rasakan sebagai
pengendara emberdi musim dingin. Saya bahkan bisa merasa sangat
lapar karena tidak ada yang bisa dimakan. Saya juga akan berpikir
seperti yang dia pikirkan, yaitu mengunjungi toko yang menjual batu
bara. Seandainya saya menjadi orang tua yang hampir membeku itu dan
membutuhkan bantuan, saya akan melakukan hal yang sama. Saya akan
menemui pemilik toko batu bara dan berharap diberi beberapa batu bara
yang akan saya bayar ketika saya punya uang setelah musim dingin
berakhir. Jika saya adalah pria pengendara ember itu, saya akan
tertatih-tatih ke rumah pedagang batu bara dan memohon bantuannya.
Kasihan si pengendara ember karena wanita kaya istri pedagang batu
bara itu sama sekali tidak mau membantunya. Dia bahkan pura-pura
tidak melihat. Saya sangat membenci wanita itu. "
“I can feel what the main character of the story feels as a cold bucket rider. I could even feel
intense hunger because there was nothing to eat. I will also think like he thought, namely visiting
a shop that sells the coal. Had I been an old man who was very cold and needed help, I would
have done the same. I'm going to meet the coal shop owner and hope to be given some coal
which I will pay for when I have the money after winter ends. If I had been that bucket-riding man,
I would have limped off to the coal dealer ’s house and begged him for help. I feel sorry for the
bucket driver because the rich woman who is the coal dealer wife didn't want to help him at all.
She even pretended not to see. I really hate that woman. "
