adalah barisan bilangan yang mempunyai

selisih dua suku yang berurutan selalu tetap.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, … beda 1 tiap suku

3, 7, 11, 15, 19, … beda 4 tiap suku

90, 87, 85, 82, 79, … beda -3 tiap suku

Rumus – Rumus Baris Aritmetika :

Jika baris aritmetika disisipkan k buah bilangan, akan terbentuk baris aritmetika baru.

GEOMETRI
Diketahui suku ke-2 dan ke-4 barisan geometri berturut-turut
adalah 12 dan 27. Jika nilai r > 0, tentukan nilai dari suku
ke-3!

Ditanya: U3 =…?

Pembahasan:
Nyatakan suku ke-2 dan ke-4 dalam notasi matematis.
CONTOH SOAL BARIS ARITMATIKA 02
Diketahui barisan aritmetika 1, 3, 5, 7, …. un = 225. Tentukan banyaknya suku (n).

Penyelesaian:

a = 1, b = 2, un = 225

un = a (n – 1)b

225 = 1 + (n – 1)2 = 1 + 2n – 2

226 = 2n

n = 113
CONTOH SOAL BARIS ARITMATIKA 03
Diketahui suku ke-1 dari barisan aritmetika adalah 6 dan suku kelimanya 18, tentukan pembedanya.

Penyelesaian:

Diketahui a = 6, dan U5 = 18

Un = a + ( n – 1) b

U5 = 6 + (5 – 1) b

18= 6 + 4b

4b = 12b = 3

Jadi pembedanya adalah 3.

a. Untuk menghitung Suku ke-10 dapat

Suatu deret aritmatika memiliki pola seperti ini : 9 + 12 menggunakan rumus : U10 = a + (n-1) b
+ 15 + ... + U10Hitunglah :
a. Berapa suku ke-10 U10 = 9 + (10-1) 3 = 36
b. S10 (jumlah sepuluh suku pertama)
b. S10 = .....? Sn = n/2 (1 + Un)

S10 = 10/2 (9 + 36) = 5 (45)

S10 = 225
 Contoh Soal Deret Aritmatika
2 Tentukan jumlah 20 suku pertama deret 3 + 7 + 11 + .....
Jawaban :

Mula - mula perlu menghitung terlebih dahulu pembeda (b) pada soal. Caranya dengan mengurangi suku sebelumnya. Atau
menggunakan rumus berikut : b = Un - Un-1 , b = U2 - U1 Maka b = 7 - 3 = 4

Selanjutnya substitusi b = 4 untuk mencari S20

Sn = n/2 (2a + (n-1) b)

= 20/2 (2 x 3 + (20 - 1) 4)

= 10 (6 + 19 x 4)

Sn = 10 (6 + 76)

Sn = 10 (82) = 820

Jadi jumlah 20 suku pertama adalah 820

Contoh Soal Deret Aritmatika 3

Terdapat sebuah deret aritmetika yang memiliki S12 = 150 dan S11 = 100. Maka
nilai dari U12 adalah ....

Jawaban : Karena yang diket S12 dan S11 maka untuk mencari Un bisa
menggunakan rumus: Un = Sn - Sn – 1

U12 = S12 - S11

U12 = 150 – 100

Jadi nilai dari U12 adalah 50

Baris geometri adalah barisan bilangan yang mempunyai
perbandingan/rasio dua suku yang berurutan dan selalu
tetap.
