 PENGERTIAN UMUM
Pola pengaliran adalah pola-pola tertentu yang terbentuk dari proses erosi dan tektonik selanjutnya
membentuk tempat pengaliran air. Sangat berhubungan dengan jenis dan ketebalan lapisan batuan, jenis
dan kerapatan vegetasi, iklim, struktur geologi, tingkat erosi, kemiringan lereng, dan bentuk permukaan
bumi.
Terbagi menjadi 2 :

- Pola Pengaliran Dasar

Pola yang karakteristik kasarnya dapat dibedakan dari pola dasar lainnya, terdapat 8 pola pengaliran.

- Pola Pengaliran Ubahan

Pola yang berbeda dari pola dasar dibeberapa aspek, yang memiliki varietas beragam sehingga dalam
penamaan lebih sulit. Pola ini tidak terdapat jumlah pasti karena kemungkinan dapat ditambah/ dikurangi.

 1. POLA PENGALIRAN DASAR DENDRITIK
Pola yang menyerupai pohon oak
yang menyebar / chestnut. Terdapat pada
sedimen datar dengan kemiringan Pola pengaliran dendritic
landai-miring, litologi seragam. Pada (Howard, 1967)
batuan yang tidak resisten akan
membentuk tekstur yang halus (rapat),
sebaliknya membentuk tekstur kasar
(renggang) seperti granit. Kurang
dipengaruhi oleh struktur geologi, anak
sungai mengarah kesemua arah menyatu
dengan induk sungai, persebaran luas.

Pola yang terbentuk oleh lereng

sedang-curam/terjal, aliran sungai Pola pengaliran paralel
berbentuk lurus-lurus mengikuti arah
(Howard, 1967)
lereng dan sedikit cabang. Kemiringan
lereng yang seragam dan dapat
mengindikasi adanya patahan besar
yang memotong daerah yang batuan
dasarnya terlipat. Terdapat di
perbukitan memanjang dan menerus
serta sayap lipatan. Kemungkinan
transisi antara dendritic dan trellis.

 3. POLA PENGALIRAN DASAR TRELIS

Pola yang menyerupai pagar dicirikan

sungai lurus disepanjang lembah
dengan cabang dari lereng curam di Pola pengaliran trelis
kedua sisi searah kemiringan lereng (Howard, 1967)
dan pola seragam. Sungai utama searah
sumbu lipatan dengan anak sungai
membentuk sudut tegak lurus,
dikontrol oleh perlipatan. Terdapat di
batuan sedimen dan metasedimen
derajat rendah. Mencirikan daerah
pegunungan lipatan.

 4. POLA PENGALIRAN DASAR REkTANGULAR

Pola yang umum berkembang di

batuan resisten mendekati seragam,
dikontrol patahan, sesar dan kekar Pola pengaliran rektangular
yang memiliki 2 arah dengan sudut (Howard, 1967)
hampir tegak lurus. Cabang sungai
mengikuti jalur yang kurang resisten
yang berkelok dan terkonsentrasi di
batuan yang lunak. Cabang membuat
sudut tumpul dengan sungai induk.
Umumnya di pegunungan patahan
pengaruh kekar/ retakan patahan/
graben yang saling berpotongan.

 5. POLA PENGALIRAN DASAR RADIAL

Pola yang menyebar dari satu titik

ketinggian tertentu. Biasanya terdapat di
daerah vulkanik, kubah intrusi, sisa erosi.
Memiliki 2 sistem yaitu sentrifugal
(menyebar keluar dari titik pusat, contoh
kerucut, kubah/ gunung api) dan sistem
sentripetal (menyebar kearah titik pusat,
contoh cekungan)

Pola pengaliran radial sentrifugal dan sentripetal

(Howard, 1967 dan Van zuidam, 1985)

 6. POLA PENGALIRAN DASAR ANNULAR

Pola yang arah alirannya menyebar secara

radial dari suatu titik ketinggian tertentu
dan ke arah downstream aliran kembali
bersatu sehingga singai-sungai besar
mengalir melingkar mengikuti struktur
dengan batuan yang tidak resisten atau
perselingan batuan keras dan lunak,
biasanya di struktur kubah, cekungan, dan
retas. Anak sungai membentuk seperti
cincin dan induk sungai subsekuen
memotong hampir tegak lurus anak sungai Pola pengaliran annular
(Howard, 1967)

 7. POLA PENGALIRAN DASAR MULTIBASINAL

Endapan permukaan berupa gumuk hasil

longsoran dengan perbedaan penggerusan/
perataan batuan dasar, daerah Gerakan
tanah, vulkanisme, pelarutan gamping,
lelehan salju/ permafrost. Aliran biasanya
menuju cekungan yang nantinya mengalir
ke bawah tanah. Diterapkan untuk semua
bentuk depresi baik yang mudah larut
seperti batugamping maupun akibat erosi
dan pengendapan secara glasial dan Pola pengaliran
aeolian. multibasinal
(Howard, 1967)

 8. POLA PENGALIRAN DASAR KONKORTED

Terdapat di batuan metamorf dengan intrusi dike,

vein yang relative batuan keras. Aliran utama
membalik dengan pola tidak teratur, anak sungai
lebih panjang ke lengkungan subsekuen, umunya
menunjukan kemiringan lapisan metamorf dan
pembeda antara penunjaman antiklin dan sinklin.
Berbeda dari recurved trellis dengan ciri tidak
teratur, punggungan dan lembah tidak menerus dan
dikontrol sesar/ ketidaksetabilan daerah, dan
tektonik aktif
