1. FENOMENA
 Health care is the world's largest industry (Preeti garg Garg,
2018)
 RS bisa berjalan dengan baik tidak lepas dari peran semua
SDM di RS baik tenaga medis, paramedis maupun non medis
 Modal manusia atau sumber daya manusia merupakan proses
investasi perusahaan (Shick & Palumbo, 2014).
 Diperlukan suatu pemeliharaan dan pengelolaan SDM di RS
apalagi suatu RS harus selalu buka 24 jam tanpa memandang
hari libur
 Menurut Nair, Retensi karyawan merujuk kepada kebijakan
dan praktik yang dilakukan perusahaan untuk mencegah
karyawan mereka yang berharga meninggalkan pekerjaan.
DATA TURN OVER DI RS BCM
 Dampak tingginya turn over terhadap RS adalah penambahan
biaya perekrutan, biaya pelatihan, biaya pengunduran diri,
hilangnya produktifitas selama pencarian dan pelatihan tenaga
baru, dan hilangnya tenaga berprestasi, penurunan kualitas
pelayanan kesehatan; dampak dari tindakan pelayanan yang
tidak memadai; dan meningkatnya tuntutan pelayanan
kesehatan dari pasien; protes masyarakat untuk pengobatan,
inefisiensi pelayanan dan anggaran( Aminulloh, Pudji Astuty,
2021)

 Dampak dari turn over sangat merugikan bagi pihak rumah


sakit dan individu perawat, sehingga diperlukan suatu cara
untuk mempertahankan perawat dengan mengambil kebijakan
untuk meminimalkan turn over dan memaksimalkan retensi.
(Handoko, 2012)
 Meningkatnya angka retensi akan memberikan keuntungan
berupa pengurangan biaya recruitment melalui iklan,
pengurangan biaya perawat pengganti, pengurangan biaya
pelatihan, meningkatkan produktivitas perawat,
berkurangnya pemberhentian perawat dan biaya pemutusan
kontrak, penurunan tingkat kesalahan pelayanan terhadap
pasien dan peningkatan kualitas pelayanan, peningkatan
lingkungan kerja dan budaya, meningkatkan kepuasan
kepercayaan dan akuntabilitas (Jones dan Gates)
