Maintenance 0he BAM$1020 &ilter tape roll 3ill last "ust o1er 60 days! 0he cyclone and PM10 head particle traps should be cleaned on a monthly basis! BAM$1020 leak checks# no le71ane cleaning# and &lo3 audits are the three critical maintenance items# and are usually per&ormed on the same monthly basis! *omplete maintenance and audits can usually be per&ormed in less than 18 minutes! A leak check is al3ays per&ormed during &lo3 audits as a data 1alidation check! A &lo3 leak is basically the only problem that the BAM$1020 may not automatically detect! 9nresol1ed leaks may cause positi1e or negati1e concentration errors! 0he sample no le and tape support 1ane must be kept clean to pre1ent no le leaks! :lo3 audits consist o& simple ambient temperature# barometric pressure# and air &lo3 checks using the same traceable re&erence de1ices that 3ould be used &or an :5M sampler
