INTRODUCTION
UNESCO telah menetapkan tanggal 18 April sebagai World Heritage Day, sedangkan
tanggal 18 Mei sebagai World Museum Day. Keduanya diperinga) se)ap tahun di
seluruh dunia melalui berbagai kegiatan.

UNESCO menetapkan tema World Heritage Day tahun 2019 ini adalah:

Sedangkan tema untuk World Museum Day 2019 adalah:


Museum as Cultural Hubs: The Future of Tradi;on

Di Indonesia, kami, ins)tusi-ins)tusi yang tergabung bersepakat keduanya akan
diperinga) dalam satu kesatuan tema:

Heritage Diversity, Heritage Value



Tema ini diangkat mengingat keragaman heritage Indonesia yang sangat luar biasa,
khususnya dalam bidang culture. Bahkan dalam UNESCO General Assembly ke 39 di
Paris tahun 2017, Assistant Director-General of Culture, Fransesco Bandarin
mengatakan:

“UNESCO has considered Indonesia to be a superpower country in terms of
culture”

“Tidak ada negara di dunia ini yang memiliki
cultural heritage sekaya Indonesia”

sambung Prof. Muhadjir Effendy, Menteri Pendidikan & Kebudayaan. Mulai dari
wayang, keris, ba)k, angklung, noken sampai dengan Tari Saman & Bali
sebagai intangible cultural heritage. Sedangkan tangible heritage melipu)
Borobudur, Prambanan, Sangiran & Subak sebagai cultural heritage, serta
Ujung Kulon, Komodo, Lorentz & Hutan Tropis Sumatra sebagai natural
heritage.

Baik tangible maupun intangible heritages di atas sudah diakui sebagai:
UNESCO World Heritage.

Sementara itu terdapat 19 monumen & situs yang telah masuk dalam tenta)ve
list di UNESCO, dalam proses menjadi tangible World Heritage.

The Borobudur Temple Compounds is one of the


greatest Buddhist monuments in the world, and
HERITAGE

was built in the 8th and 9th centuries AD during


the reign of the Syailendra Dynasty. The
monument is located in the Kedu Valley, in the
southern part of Central Java, at the centre of the
island of Java, Indonesia.

UNESCO recognized Indonesia's
phenomenal natural wonder called
the Ciletuh–Pelabuhan Ratu as
UNESCO Global GEOPARK. The
PHOTO EXHBT poten)als are enormous and its
natural splendors complete. We have
outstanding landscapes of mountains,
waterfalls, rice paddies, rivers,
estuaries, and more. encompasses a
total area of about 126,000 hectares.

HERITAGE

The tradi)onal village of Wae Rebo in the district of


Manggarai on the island of Flores, East
Nusatenggara, has received the Top Award of
Excellence from UNESCO in the 2012 UNESCO Asia
Pacific Heritage Awards.

Wae Rebo is a small, very out of the way village.
Located some 1,100m above sea level, where the air
is cool and the village completely surrounded by
