This is a sample of daily lesson plan for teaching Pantun in Malay Language class. The objective of this lesson
is to get the students to understand and grasp the meaning of the Pantun and recite or chant them in correct
intonations. At the beginning of the lesson, the students will be asked to recite the given poems with correct
intonations. Teacher will listen to them and demonstrate how to chant the Pantun in good manners. Then the
students will explain the meaning of the words that belies in each of the Pantun. Explain the meaning of the
Pantun and give reasons why such words are used in the Pantun. Teacher guides the students to create the
Pantun on their own. Finally they need to recite the Pantun in front of the classroom. Teacher explains the
importance of Pantun and how we need to safeguard the Pantun for the young generation.
