Analisis pengendalian persediaan bahan baku dengan metode Economic

Order Quantity (EOQ) pada PT. Estern Pearl Flour Mills, Muh. Nizar ali,
Vigriawan Oky Nugraha. Perusahaan PT.Eastern Pearl Flour Mills ini memiliki
bahan baku utama yaitu gandum. Didalam proses produksi penggunaan bahan
baku gandum mencapai 99,5%, dan bahan tambah lainnya sebesar 0,5%. Dalam
proses pencapaian tujuan tersebut dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, salah satu
faktor itu ialah kelancaran produksi. Sedangkan dalam PT. Eastern Pearl Flour
Mills kendala yang dihadapi adalah bidang produksi, sehingga perusahaan harus
memiliki manajemen yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menerapkan penggunaan
metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) dalam menganalisis manajemen
persediaan bahan baku yang optimal dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional
perusahaan, dalam menghitung efisiensi kuantitas persediaan, pemesanan, dan
penyimpanan bahan baku produksi pada PT.Eastern Pearl Flour Mills secara
optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ)
dengan menggunakan data sekunder yang didapat dari PT. Estern Pear Flour Mills
dari bulan Januari sampai dengan desember 2018. Data sekunder ini diolah
menggunakan program aplikasi mickrosoft exel dan secara manual untuk
menghasilkan pengeluaran biaya yang lebih efisien. Hasil yang didapatkan dari
pengolahan data biaya persediaan bahan baku gandum berdasarkan jenis gandum
hard sebesar Rp 2.709.645.233, untuk gandum medium sebesar Rp 5.763.846.445,
dan untuk jenis gandum soft sebesar Rp 1.137.865.397. Persediaan bahan baku
yang kurang optimal akan menghambat proses produksi. Sebab lainnya persediaan
bahan baku yang terlalu banyak akan memakai biaya yang lebih besar. Penelitian
ini menyarakan PT. Estern pearl flour mills, sebaiknya melakukan pemantauan
produksi agar pembelian dan persediaan bahan baku lebih optimal sesuai dengan
kebutuhan produksi.

Analysis of raw material inventory control with the Economic Order

Quantity (EOQ) method at PT. Estern Pearl Flour Mills, Muh. Nizar Ali,
Vigriawan Oky Nugraha. Wheat is the main raw material of PT. Estern Pearl
Flour Mills. In the process of production, the use of wheat raw material reaches
99.5%, and other additional ingredients by 0.5%. The process of achieving these
goals is influenced by various factors, one factor is the fluency of production.
Whereas the obstacle that PT. Eastern Pearl Flour Mills faced is the production
field, so the company must have good management.

This study aims to apply the use of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method
in analyzing optimal raw material inventory management compared to
conventional methods of the company, in calculating the efficiency of inventory
quantity, ordering, and storing production raw materials at PT. Eastern Pearl
Flour Mills optimally.

This study uses the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method by secondary data
obtained from PT. Estern Pear Flour Mills from January to December 2018.

This secondary data is processed by using Microsoft Excel application programs

and manual technique to produce more efficient expenditure.

The results obtained from processing the cost of raw material inventory of wheat
based on hard wheat types amounted to Rp 2.709.645.233, Rp 5.763.846.445 for
medium wheat, and for soft wheat types amounted to Rp 1.137.865.397.

Lack of optimization inventories of raw materials will hamper the production

process. Another cause is the excess inventory of raw material will use higher
costs.
This research suggests that PT. Eastern Pearl Flour Mills must carry out
monitoring production so the purchase and supply of raw materials is more
optimal in accordance with production needs.
