Makanan cepat saji (fast food) adalah makanan yang disajikan secara cepat, praktis, dan
waktu persiapannya membutuhkan waktu yang singkat dan pada umumnya makanan yang
mengandung rendah serat dan tinggi lemak.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan
mahasiswa STIDKI AR-RAHMAH tentang konsumsi makanan cepat saji. Penelitian ini
bersifat wawancara, yaitu terhadap salah satu mahasiswa yang tinggal di asrama.
Fast food is food that served fast, practically, and requires a short preparation time and is
generally low in fiber and high in fat.
The purpose of this research was to know description of knowledge, attitudes and actions of
STIDKI AR-RAHMAH students about consumption of fast food. This research is an
interview, namely one of the students who lives in the dormitory.
In the interview, we asked questions about the level of fast food consumption that occurs in
the STIDKI AR-RAHMAH hostel.
The results showed that the majority of students 'knowledge of fast food consumption was in
the good category (80%), the students' attitude was in the good category (65%) and the
actions of the USU Faculty of Medicine students regarding the consumption of fast food
were in the very frequent consumption is too often 38%.
The STIDKI AR-RAHMAH campus should add media containing information about healthy
and nutritious food, for example healthy food posters in the Student Dormitory and pay more
attention to and supervise the food in the STIDKI AR-RAHMAH campus environment.
