Perkenalan

Human Machine Interface (HMI) adalah antarmuka antara mesin atau plant
dengan operator. Umumnya terdiri dari komputer pusat atau beberapa
komputer terpisah berfungsi untuk memonitor dan mengontrol mesin, plant
atau proses di sebuah pabrik.

 Tujuan pemakaian HMI adalah

 mengumpulkan dan menampilkan informasi dari proses pada mesin/plant
 Sarana bagi operator untuk mengakses sistem otomasi di lapangan
(operasional, perawatan & troubleshooting, pengembangan)

 Fitur-fitur HMI secara umum adalah

 Informasi plant, seperti : Variabel proses, status peralatan, alarm, loop
control, database
 Tampilan berupa Metode Presentasi : Grafik, report, animasi.
 Koneksi beberapa device : Keyboard, mouse atau pointing device lainnya,
dan touchscreen
