 DEFINISI BUNYI
o Bunyi merupakan gelombang mekanik yang dalam perambatan arahnya sejajar
dengan arah getarnya.

o Gelombang bunyi adalah salah satu bentuk energi

o Merupakan gelombang longitudinal yang merambat secara perapatan

dan perenggangan terbentuk oleh partikel zat perantara serta ditimbulkan oleh
sumber bunyi yang mengalami getaran.

Simpulan : Bunyi pada dasarnya merupakan gelombang longitudinal yang

merambat melalui medium, yang dihasilkan oleh getaran mekanis dan merupakan
hasil perambatan energi.
 SUMBER BUNYI
o Sebagai sumber getar yang memancarkan gelombang-gelombang
longitudinal ke segala arah.

o Gelombang bunyi terdiri dari molekul - molekul udara yang tidak

pernah merambat melainkan bergetar maju-mundur.

Simpulan : Dikatakan sebagai gelombang longitdinal karena pada tiap saat

molekul- molekul itu berdesakan di beberapa tempat, sehingga menghasilkan
wilayah tekanan tinggi, tetapi di tempat lain merenggang, sehingga
menghasilkan wilayah tekanan rendah. Secara bergantian bergerak di udara
menyembar dari sumber bunyi.
