Materi/ Vokal
Terdapat beberapa perbedaan mendasar
terhadap materi vocal orang yang
berbeda, yaitu :
 1. Warna Suara
Bunyi atau suara satu siswa berbeda dengan siswa lainnya, ini karena
getaran yang dihasilkan, bentuk pita suaranya berbeda. Perbedaan ukuran
pita suara menghasilkan perbedaan frekuensi suara masing-masing. Dari
perbedaan ini dihasilkan warna suara yang berbeda.

Warna suara jika dilatih dengan teknik vokal yang benar akan
menghasilkan karakter vokal yang kuat.
 2. Wilayah nada
Kemampuan seseorang dalam mencapai ketinggian dan rendahnya nada
menyebabkan seseorang memiliki wilayah nada tertentu. Setiap orang memiliki
wilayah nada yang berbeda-beda sesuai dengan ketebalan pita suara yang dimilki
juga upaya seseorang itu dalam mengolah teknik vokalnya.

Teknik Vokal
Bernyanyi merupakan kegiatan yang
menyenangkan baik bagi pendengarnya maupun
bagi penyanyinya sendiri.

Seseorang yang bernyanyi dengan menggunakan

teknik vokal yang benar niscaya dia akan
menghasilkan suara yang baik dan layak didengar.
 1. Sikap bernyanyi

2. Berat badan bertumpu di kedua kaki
dengan seimbang.
3. Dada dibusungkan tapi tetap rileks.

 2. Pernapasan Diafragma

Pernapasan yang dianjurkan saat

bernyanyi yaitu pernapasan diafragma.
Dalam diafragma terdapat otot yang jika terus
dilatih dengan olah napas akan menjadi lebih
kuat sehingga dapat memperpanjang durasi
keluarnya napas saat bernyanyi.

Otot diafragma dapat menjadi sumber tenaga

yang besar untuk mencapai nada tinggi dan
menambah tenaga ketika bernyanyi.
 3. Resonansi
Dalam bernyanyi, seseorang harus dapat
menggemakan suara
dengan cara menempatkan sumber suara agar
suara lebih keras pada
saat dikeluarkan dan sampai kepada pendengar.
Proses menggemakan
suara ini disebut dengan resonansi
Jenis Resonansi
Resonansi Dada
Memantulkan sumber bunyi
pada bagian dada akan
menghasilkan suara rendah.
Jika akan memproduksi suara
yang rendah, hendaklah
menggunakan resonansi dada
agar nada rendah dapat dicapai
dengan tepat dan halus
Resonansi Hidung
Memantulkan sumber bunyi pada bagian
wajah seputar hidung
yaitu meliputi tulang rahang mulut sampai
ke pipi, akan
menghasilkan suara sedang yang tepat dan
halus.
Resonansi Kepala
Memantulkan sumber bunyi
pada bagian kepala akan
menghasilkan
suara tinggi dan halus
 4. Artikulasi dan Gerak mulut

Artikulasi merupakan perubahan rongga dan ruang

yang terjadi dalam saluran suara untuk
menghasilkan bunyi atau bahasa. Artikulasi
dilakukan dengan pengucapan kata melalui mulut
agar terdengar dengan baik dan benar serta jelas,
sehingga telinga pendengar atau penonton bisa
mengerti pada kata-kata yang diucapkan dengan
baik dan benar
Bernyanyi yang baik tidak bisa terlepas dari
pengucapan kata-kata
yang ada pada lirik lagu dengan jelas.
 5. Phrasering/
Pengkalimatan

Phrasering atau pengkalimatan merupakan

teknik vokal yang mengatur tentang
pengelompokkan kalimat di mana vokalis dapat
mengambil napas pada setiap jeda antarkalimat.
Pengkalimatan ini hendaknya dilakukan sebelum
memulai bernyanyi
