THE DESIGN OF INFORMATION SYSTEM OF RETENTION ANALYSIS

USING MICROSOFT VISUAL AUDIO 2010 AT REGIONAL PUBLIC
HOSPITAL OF BOGOR CITY

This research aimed to identify the retention of medical record, the existing
obstacles and problems, the problem solving and the design of information system
of the retention using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 at Regional Public Hospital of
Bogor.

Research method used in this research is qualitative method by using descriptive

approach. The data collection techniques are observation, interview, and literature
study. The method of software development is waterfall method.

Problems found from the results of the research were: 1) the implementation of
completeness analysis of medical-record forms was done manually, 2) the
limitation of medical-record storage, 3) the absent of regular schedule of inactive
retention.

The suggestions given to the problems are: 1) designing an application of

information system of retention analysis, 2) the need of bigger medical-record
storage facility in order to keep the available medical record, 3) developing a
retention schedule so that the implementation of the retention runs well and the
inactive medical records are not jumbled up with the active medical records.

PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI ANALISIS RETENSI DENGAN

MENGGUNAKAN MICROSOFT VISUAL STUDIO 2010 DI RUMAH SAKIT
UMUM DAERAH KOTA BOGOR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi retensi rekam medis , kendala
dan permasalahan yang di temukan, pemecahan masalah dan perancangan system
retensi dengan enggunakan Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 di Rumah Sakit Umum
Daerah Bogor.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode
kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan
adalah dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Metode
pengembangan perangkat lunak yang digunakan adalah model waterfall.

Permasalahan yang ditemukan dari hasil penelitian adalah 1) Pelaksanaan

analisis kelengkapan formulir rekam medis masih secara manual, 2) Keterbatasan
penyimpanan rekam medis, 3) Belum adanya jadwal rutin retensi inaktif.
Adapun saran yang diberikan adalah 1) Merancang suatu sistem informasi
aplikasi analisis retensi , 2) Dibutuhkannya fasilitas penyimpanan rekam medis
yang lebih besar agar cukup menampung rekam medis yang tersedia, 3) Dibuatnya
jadwal retensi agar pelaksanaan retensilebih teratur, sehingga rekam medis inaktif
tidak bersatu dengan penyimpanan rekam amedis aktif.
