pemberitahuan (announcement), sehingga peserta didik dapat menghayati dan
mengamalkan ajaran agama yang dianutnya, mengembangkan sikap jujur, peduli,
dan bertanggung jawab, serta dapat mengembangankan kemampuan berpikir kritis,

1) PetunjukUmum UKB
a) Melalui UKB ini Kalian akan mengembangkan teknik membaca visual literacy
untuk membedakan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsure kebahasaan, serta
menangkap makna secara kontekstual dari teks pemberitahuan untuk selanjutnya
mampu menyusun teks pemberitahuan (announcement). Aktivitas berpikir yang
akan Kalian lakukan dalam UKBM ini adalah menganalisis fungsisosial, struktur
teks, dan unsur kebahasaan, serta menangkap makna secara kontekstual dari teks
pemberitahuan untuk selanjutnya mampu menyusun teks pemberitahuan
(announcement), dan menuliskan teks pengumuman tulis secara sederhana sesuai
konteks dengan menggunakan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsure kebahasaan

Visual (gambar) yang ada menemani sebuah bacaan dapat membantu memperjelas maksud isi

disampaikan dengan kata-kata.
Misal:

1. Padakegiatan Pendahuluan disajikan 4 jenis announcement yang berbeda. Dari 4 announcement


tersebut, Kalian sebagai pembaca tentu akan lebih cepat dan lebih mudah untuk menebak isi
announcement kedua, karena announcement kedua disertai dengan gambar.
2. Pada contoh announcement tentang ‘kick-off party’, penulis menyajikan beberapa gambar

rentang 0 – 100, tuliskan kedalam kotak yang tersedia.

Tuliskan dalam buku kerja, refleksi Kalian dengan menggunakan cara dan bahasa Kalian
sendiri sebagai bagian dari pengakuan terhadap apa yang sudah Kalian kuasai.

Ini adalah bagian akhir dari UKB materi teks pemberitahuan (announcement), mintalah tes
formatif kepada Guru Kalian sebelum belajar ke UKBM berikutnya
