Pain is a condition of unpleasant feeling that is very subjective because the pain is
different from everyone in terms of Sectio Caesareaale or level, and only the person can
explain or evaluate the pain experienced. The purpose of this study was to determine the
effect of early ambulation on the intensity of pain the Post Sectio Caesarea study in the RSU
Al-Rohmah Banyuwangi.
The design of this study used pre-experimental design of one group pre-post test
design, the population of all patients Post Sectio Caesarea that is 25 respondents, sample 25
respondents, the method used in sampling that is accidental sampling, variable of this
research there are independent variable that is early ambulation , and the pain intensity
dependent variable. The data analysis used is wilcoxon test with αlpa <0,05.
The results showed that before early ambulation most of the respondents experienced
moderate pain as many as 27 (75%), and after early ambulation experienced mild pain as
many as 31 (86%). The statistical test using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test is known that the
asymp P value is 0.000 < a = 0.05, which means H1 is accepted. This means that there is an
effect of early ambulation on the intensity of Post Sectio Caesarea pain.
The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant effect before and after early
ambulation, early ambulation can be used as an effective way to relieve pain due to Post
Sectio Caesarea.
