B. Tujuan:
Melalui kegiatan pengamatan, siswa mampu mengamati bagian-bagian sel hidup dan
sel mati
Dengan melakukan kegiatan menggambar, siswa mampu membandingkan struktur sel
hewan dan tumbuhan
c. Cara kerja:
1) Pengamatan Sel Gabus Ubi Kayu
- Persiapkan mikroskop di meja praktikum
- Carilah cahaya yang pas untuk pengamatan dengan mikroskop
- Sayatlah gabus kayu secara melintang setipis mungkin
- Letakkan sayata gabus tersebut di tengah kaca objek dan tetesi dengan aquades
- Tutuplah kaca objek dengan kaca penutup secara hati-hati (jangan sampai ada
gelembung)
- Letakkan preparat pada meja benda mikroskop dan amatilah sel gabus dengan
menggunakan mikroskop
- Gambarlah kenampakan sel yang terlihat dan berilah keterangan bagian-bagian sel
tersebut
1) Dari berbagai preparat di atas, mana yang termasuk sel hewan dan mana yang termasuk
sel tumbuhan? Jelaskan!
