Writing is one of the basic skills that should be mastered in learning English. Writing its
language classroom is needed for learning and for testing their ability of the language
itself. However, writing is not a simple skill. There are several stages that should be
passed to achieve a good writing. One of several types that can be used in teaching writing
is descriptive text. It is a text that has an aim to provide clear description about a certain
thing. Besides, it is used to teach writing more specific that the complex writing to be
taught.
Based on the explanation, the researcher wants to help the students to make their
writing descriptive text easier by using mind mapping technique. Therefore, the study's
title is " Improving Students’ Ability in Writing Descriptive Text by Using Mind
Mapping
Technique. (An Action Research At Tenth Grade Students of SMKN 1 Kuripan.

In this research, researcher would like to use Tenth Grade Students of SMKN 1 Kuripan.
3. Research design
The researcher use qualitative method for this research. Research Instruments : Test,
Observation, Documentation and Field Note.

Tense, And Simple Future Tense by Using Compare Technique.

One of the biggest challenges of the students who study English as a second language learner
is faced by grammar rule that must be used at the right time. Some of them are simple present
tense, simple past tense, and simple future tense. For those of us who are not native English
speaker, it can be difficult to understand the rule. There are many rules as well as exceptions in
English tenses. The main way to master the tenses is to understand the formula, and when the
condition should be used.
Based on the explanation, the researcher wants to help the students to make them easier
to learn and to understand tenses correctly. Therefore, the study's title is " Improving
Students’ Ability in Writing Descriptive Text by Using Mind Mapping Technique. (An Action
