Setelah mempelajari teks eksposisi, peserta didik mengetahui:

1. Penggunaan jenis teks eksposisi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, terutama
yang berhubungan dengan profesi di jurusannya.
2. Menggunakan teks eksposisi digunakan untuk langkah persuasif, contohnya
pentingnya makan pagi/pentingnya melakukan pemanasan sebelum
olahraga.

- Sebelum memberikan materi teks eksposisi, guru memberikan pertanyaan

- Guru mengajukan pertanyaan dan berinteraksi dengan peserta didik.
2. Modelling of the Text (MoT)
- Guru memberi contoh teks manual tentang teks eksposisi (ppt)
- Guru memberikan penjelasan tentang tujuan, fungsi kebahasaan, unsur
kebahasaan dan struktur teks Analytical Exposition.
- Guru memberi kesempatan kepada siswa untuk bertanya terkait dengan

Why Sleep is Essential for Our Health

Modern-day living, especially in urban areas, does not always embrace the necessity of an
adequate portion of sleep. Yet, it is essential that people make an effort to get enough sleep
regularly.
Enough sleep makes us be more active. When we get healthy sleep, our energy levels are
higher. So it can improve athletic performance, including better speed, agility, and reflexes.
Sleeping is the most vital time to shape memories and make the connections between
events, feeling, and experiences. In fact, sleep helps us to form new learning and memory
pathway in our brains.
Good sleep allows our mind to regain focus and tackle those tricky mental challenges. It can
also stimulate creativity.
Sleep makes our immune system stronger and helps us to fight infection. It is our body
mechanism to ward off infection. When we do not get enough sleep, our immune system will
be weaker, making us more susceptible to illness.
From the fact above, it is clearly obvious that sleep is essential for health. Getting enough,
healthy sleep will make us be more active, boost our memory, keep us stay alert, and
strengthen our immune system.

Why is Physical Activity and Fitness Important? There are some advantages when we
get fitnes. SOme of them are:
Physical activity is essential to prevent and reduce risks of many diseases and improve
physical and mental health. It can even help you live longer—research from the
American Journal of Preventative Medicine indicates that regular exercise can add up to
five years to your life.
Physical activity also keeps you in shape so you can enjoy leisure activities and safely
perform work and home chores. It offers great mental and social benefits as well. The
Lancet released a series of studies that attribute positive outcomes to physical activity,
including “a sense of purpose and value, a better quality of life, improved sleep, and
reduced stress, as well as stronger relationships and social connectedness.”
On the other hand, lack of physical activity is associated with increased risks of healthy
problems.

How much do you drink water today? Water is often considered insignificant but beyond that,
it turns out that water has essential roles for our body. There are several reasons why you
need to drink enough water every day.
Firstly, our body fluid is replenished by drinking the water. Water is used by the body to digest
food and helps to transport essential nutrients throughout the body. Besides, body fluid is
also useful for producing saliva and regulating body temperature.
Secondly, water improves the kidneys' function. Our kidneys process 200 litters of blood in
our body every day. They also filter out waste from the blood in the form of urine and deliver it
to the bladder. To do all the tasks, they need enough water to clean anything unnecessary for
our bodies.
Thirdly, drinking water helps to moisturize our skin. It makes our skin feel fresh, soft, and
smooth.
Lastly, drinking enough water a day can improve the function of our brain. It helps us to
concentrate more and unleash the nervous system in the brain.
In conclusion, drinking enough water is important because about 60 percent of our body is
water. It helps to improve the kidneys and brain function and is good to keep skin healthy.

 Why Farming is Essential for Us

In this modern era, people can get their food conveniently by buying it from the supermarket
or grocery store. It is the farmers who provide us with fresh produce, vegetables, meats, and
other non-processed items. Unfortunately, farming has become the least attractive
employment sector for youths. Yet, farming is important to support our life.
Farming is a huge boon to our local economy. Most of the farms owned are family-owned
farms. It means when we buy local produce, we support their family while they support ours.
The healthy way to eat is consuming fresh fruits, vegetables, and animals which are grain-fed
and raised in humane conditions. Without the local farmers, we would sorely lack healthy
food and would be forced to consume processed and less healthy food.
Agriculture is the largest industry in Indonesia. These jobs range from actual farming,
processing, distribution, and much more. With this great opportunity, it will absorb a lot of
local workers and advance the development of the community's economy.
I personally believe that farming is essential for us as a community and local farmers can be
a great way to empowering local economies, providing healthy food, and advancing the
development of the community's economy.

 The importance of School Extracurricular Activities for Students

Besides learning formal lessons, students at school are able to develop their personality by
joining certain extracurricular activities that held at school, for example, boy scouts, martial
art, music, English club, sports, and so on. The activities have significant roles for students.
Firstly, school extracurricular activities will reveal the students' hidden potentials. This is
important since knowing students’ potentials will ease school to direct and manage the
students’ progress in certain talents. If some students join sport extracurricular, for example,
the school basketball team, it is easy for the school to choose the best student sent if there is
any student basketball competition.
Secondly, extracurricular activities will increase students’ self-confidence. It is important for
them to have strong and high self-confidence in order to achieve higher achievements and
better character.
Thirdly, joining school extracurricular activities will train students to learn how to organize and
give a contribution to a certain kind of organization. This knowledge and experience are vital
to developing students' leadership and cooperation. Here the will be involved in choosing the
leader of the school extracurricular, managing the administration of the group, promoting their
activities to other students, building good communication with school management and
running the activity continuously. This needs strong leadership and full commitment and
cooperation among members.

Sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout your life. Getting
enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical
health, quality of life, and safety. Why Is Sleep Important?
Sleep helps your brain work properly. While you’re sleeping, your brain is preparing for
the next day. It’s forming new pathways to help you learn and remember information.
Studies show that a good night’s sleep improves learning. Whether you’re learning
math, how to play the piano, how to perfect your golf swing, or how to drive a car, sleep
helps enhance your learning and problem-solving skills. Sleep also helps you pay
attention, make decisions, and be creative.
Physical Health often relate to quality sleep. It plays an important role in your physical
health. For example, sleep is involved in healing and repair of your heart and blood
vessels. Ongoing sleep deficiency is linked to an increased risk of heart disease, kidney
disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and stroke.
Besides that, sleep also helps maintain a healthy balance of the hormones that make
you feel hungry (ghrelin) or full (leptin). When you don’t get enough sleep, your level of
ghrelin goes up and your level of leptin goes down. This makes you feel hungrier than
when you’re well-rested

Education is most important among all of us. Education plays a very important role in
your life. For living a luxurious life or for living a better life, you should be educated.
Education is that which transforms a person to live a better life and even in a social
wellbeing. Education is the one that doing something constructive in our near future. It
helps a person to show their best by their mind and spirit. It gives you a lot of
knowledge in whatever aspects.
Education plays a vital role in your success in the personal growth. The more you have

The Importance of Reading

I personally think that reading is an important activity in our life. Why do I say so?
Firstly, by reading we can get a lot of information about many things in the world such as
science, technology, sports, arts and culture.
Secondly, by reading we can get a lot of news and knowledge about something happening
in any part of the world which we can see directly.
Thirdly, reading can give us pleasure. When we are tired, we can read books, newspapers
or magazines on the entertainment column such as short stories, comedies or quizzes to
make us relax.
Fourthly, reading can also take us to other parts of the world. By reading a book about
Irian Jaya we may feel that we’re really sitting in the jungles, not at home in our rooms.
Based on the facts above, it is obvious that everyone needs to read books, newspapers,
magazines or others to get knowledge, news, information and also entertainment. In other
words, we can say reading is truly important in our life.

pandang tentang sebuah isu. Exposition text umumnya dapat kita temukan di artikel
ilmiah, jurnal, majalah, dan bagian tajuk rencana atau editorial suatu koran / media
massa

Sedangkan analytical exposition text adalah sebuah teks yang berisikan pendapat
penulis tentang hal-hal yang terjadi di sekitarnya. Baik itu suatu benda, tempat,
ataupun kejadian, tanpa mengajak pembaca untuk melakukan sesuatu. Lebih jelasnya

1. Thesis

 2. Arguments

Di paragraf selanjutnya, kamu bisa menemukan

bagian arguments. Arguments adalah pendapat untuk mendukung topik utama yang
telah disampaikan sebelumnya. Biasanya dalam analytical exposition terdapat lebih
dari dua argumen.
Semakin banyak argumen yang ditampilkan, pembaca akan semakin percaya bahwa
topik yang dibahas adalah topik yang penting atau membutuhkan perhatian.

3. Reiteration

Setelah bagian thesis dan arguments sudah dipaparkan, tentu saja ditutup dengan
kesimpulan atau reiteration. Bagian ini selalu terletak di akhir teks dan menjadi
paragraf penutup tulisan.

Reiteration adalah penegasan kembali posisi dan pendapat penulis terhadap topik
utama. Reiteration juga sering disebut sebagai conclusion, yang mana artinya
adalah kesimpulan.

Kaidah Kebahasaan Analytical Exposition Text

Selain struktur, kamu juga harus tahu tentang kaidah kebahasaan atau language
features dalam penulisan analytical exposition text. Kaidah kebahasaannya adalah
berikut ini:

1. Penulisan analytical exposition text menggunakan simple present tense.

 2. Menggunakan kata-kata yang mengekspresikan pikiran atau perasaan penulis,
contohnya: experience, feel, know, realize, sense, think, dll.
3. Menggunakan connective words yaitu kata penghubung. Penggunaan connective
words bertujuan untuk menghubungkan antar ide, baik itu frasa, klausa, kalimat,
maupun paragraf.

• Connective words ini banyak fungsinya. 3 fungsi dari kata hubung yang paling sering
dipakai dalam analytical exposition text adalah:
• Adding information, yaitu menambahkan informasi. Contohnya seperti and, moreover,
in addition, dan also.
• Contrasting information, yaitu mengkontraskan sesuatu. Contohnya seperti but,
however, dan even though.
• Causality, yaitu menunjukkan sebab-akibat. Contohnya seperti because, therefore,
thus, consequently, despite, due to, for that reason, dll.
