Ini adalah salah satu pengalaman indah saat membersamai seorang ibu yang melahirkan.

Saya merasa
bahwa ini adalah proses persalinan terindah karena ibu tidak berteriak – teriak selama proses
persalinan, persalinan pun berjalan lancar, dan suami pun setia mendampingi ibu selama proses ini

saat itu saya bekerja bersama teman bidan saya di sebuah birth center milik seorang bidan senior.

Stage 1 : Laten Phase and Active phase

saat pertama kali datang, ibu sudah terlihat menahan kontraksi dari dalam uterus, namun ia tetap
berusaha tenang

setelah ditanyakan beberapa keluhan, ibu pun masuk ke ruang bersalin untuk dilakukan pemeriksaan
vagina, tekanan darah, dan sebagainya

Hasil pemeriksaan vagina ibu sudah mulai pembukaan (saya lupa berapa tepat pembukaanya), tapi
kemudian ibu diminta untuk tetap berjalan jalan jika masihi memiliki energy, dan beristirahat di sela sela
kontraksi

Beberapa waktu kemudian, ibu sudah terlihat kesakitan, dan suaminya memanggil kita, pemeriksan
dalam pun dilakukan kembali, dan hasilnya sudah mendekati pembukaan lengkap. Ibu pun di anjurkan
untuk miring ke kiri oleh bidan senior.

saya dan seorang teman bidan saya, berusaha mengurangi sakit di pinggang ibu tersebut dengan
memberikan pijatan pada punggung dan pinggangnya.
suami ibu ini pun ikut mendampingi di samping ibu, dengan memberi belaian tangan pada kepala dan
tubuhnya serta memberikan semangat, baru pertama kali ini saya melihat ibu melahirkan yang begitu
sabar dan tenang, meski tetap saja terlihat menahan sakit yang luar biasa.

Stage 2 : baby’s out

Beberapa saat kemudian ibu sudah merasa ingin mengejan. Ibu bidan senior pun memberi saran sang
ibu untuk melakukan posisi litotomi, (saya merasa ini adalah posisi yang benar dalam proses perlinan
dulu)

Bidan senior pun melakukan pemeriksaan dalam, dan hasilnya sudah mencapai pembukaan lengkap,
kepala bayi pun sudah mulai terlihat walaupun sedikit.

Kami memerintahkan ibu untuk mengejan saat proses kontraksi datang, dan ibu pun melakukannya
sesuai dengan arahan kami.

Beberapa menit kemudian (saya lupa pastinya) bayi keluar dan mengeluarkan tangisan yang keras.
Alhamdulillah, kami merasa lega begitupun suami ibu dan bayi.

Ibu bayi terlihat menangis melihat bayinya yang mungil begitupun ayah bayi. Ayah bayi mencium kening
ibu dan mengelus bayinya, kemudian ayah bayi memperdengarkan adzan di telinga kanan bayi. Masyaa
Allah, ini pertama kalinya saya melihat proses kelahiran yang begitu indah.

Bayi pun segera dilakukan proses inisiasi menyusui dini, dan kami menyuntikkan oksitosin ke paha ibu.

Sesaat kemudian plasenta keluar, Alhamdulillah

It is one of the wonderful experiences when accompanying a mother who gives birth. I feel that this is
the most beautiful labor process because the mother doesn't scream during the labor process, the
delivery goes smoothly, and the husband is loyal to accompany the mother during this process.

at that time I worked with my midwife friend in a birth center owned by a senior midwife.

Stage 1: Latent Phase and Active phase

When she arrived, the mother was seen to be holding back contractions from the uterus, but she still
tried to calm down

After being asked about several complaints, the mother went into the delivery room for vaginal
examinations, blood pressure, and so on as the procedures in birth center.

The results of the examination of the mother's vagina started to open (I forgot how much it opened),
but then the mother was asked to keep walking if she still had energy, and rested between contractions.

A few hours later, the mother was already looking in pain, and her husband called us, the vaginal
examination was done again, and the results were close to complete opening. Senior midwives also
advised the mother to sleep to the left.

me and one of my midwives friend, trying to reduce pain in the mother's back by giving a massage to her
back and waist. We just massage her, not talking to her.

This mother's husband also accompanies the mother, by caressing her head and body and giving
encouragement, this is the first time I have seen a mother giving birth who was so patient and calm,
although she still seemed to be enduring tremendous pain.

Stage 2: baby's out

A few moments later, the mother felt like pushing. The senior midwife also advised the mother to do a
lithotomy position, (I feel this is the correct position in the labor process at that time, LOL)

The senior midwife did an vaginal examination again, and the results had reached the complete opening,
the baby's head was starting to show even a little.

We ordered the mother to push when the contraction came, and she did it according to our directions.

A few minutes later (I forgot exactly) the baby came out and was crying loudly. Alhamdulillah, we feel
relieved as well as husbands, and mothers.

The mother of the baby is seen crying seeing her tiny baby as well as the baby's father. The baby's father
kisses the mother's forehead and the baby, then the baby's father adzan in the baby's right ear. Masyaa
Allah, this is the first time I have seen such a beautiful birth process.

Stage 3 : placenta’s out

The baby was initiated early breastfeeding, and we injected oxytocin into the mother's thigh.

A moment later the placenta came out, Alhamdulillah
