 Assignment
Situation:

Mother and father come to hospital check their son condition because he has been ill for two
days. The two nurse staffs welcome them very patiently. They have to do registration first
before doing treatment by the doctor. The nurse staffs give them the number call for their turn
and ask them to wait in another room. Another nurse staff calls them to be ready for their
next turn. A few minutes later, the staff calls them to come to the doctor room. Inside the
room, there is a doctor and an assistant who have been ready to check their son. The doctor
asks assistant to do vital sign first. The assistant reports the result to the doctor before the
doctor doing treatment. The doctor tries to check all the patient condition until the doctor
finding the diagnoses. Then, the doctor tells the patient’s condition to the parent and gives
suggestion for what to do and not to do for the son. The doctor finally gives prescription.

Terjemahan:

Ibu dan ayah datang ke rumah sakit memeriksa kondisi anaknya karena sudah dua hari sakit
(berkepanjangan). Kedua staf perawat menyambut mereka dengan sangat sabar. Mereka
harus melakukan registrasi terlebih dahulu sebelum melakukan perawatan oleh dokter. Staf
perawat memberi mereka panggilan nomor untuk giliran mereka dan meminta mereka untuk
menunggu di ruangan lain. Staf perawat lain memanggil mereka untuk siap untuk giliran
berikutnya. Beberapa menit kemudian, staf memanggil mereka untuk datang ke ruang dokter.
Di dalam kamar, ada seorang dokter dan asisten yang telah siap untuk memeriksa putra
mereka. Dokter meminta asisten untuk melakukan tanda vital terlebih dahulu. Asisten
melaporkan hasilnya ke dokter sebelum dokter melakukan perawatan. Dokter mencoba
memeriksa semua kondisi pasien sampai dokter menemukan diagnosisnya. Kemudian, dokter
memberi tahu kondisi pasien kepada orang tua dan memberikan saran untuk apa yang harus
dilakukan dan tidak dilakukan untuk putranya. Dokter akhirnya memberikan resep.

-Ruang Administrasi-

Perawat 1 : Good morning, Mam. How can I help you? (Selamat pagi, Ibu. Ada yang bisa
saya bantu?)

Ibu Pasien : I want to check on my son. It has been ill for 2 days. Where should I go? (Saya
mau periksa anak saya. Sudah 2 hari sakit. Kemanakah saya harus pergi?)

Perawat 1 : Here we have a GP (General Practitioners) and a specialist. Which one do you
want to choose, Mam? (Disini kami memiliki dokter umum dan dokter
spesialis. Ibu ingin memilih yang mana?).

Ibu Pasien : General practitioner. (Dokter umum).

Perawat 1 : As you can see, there is still a line. Please take queue first. We will call you
later. Please take a seat and wait patiently. (Sebagaimana yang Ibu lihat,
disana masih ada antrean. Silahkan Ibu ambil terlebih dahulu antreannya.
Nanti kami akan panggil. Silahkan duduk dan mohon menunggu).
Perawat 2 : Queue No. 19. (Calling the patient). Excuse me Mam, have you been here
before or is this for the first time? (Antrean No 19. (Memanggil pasien). Maaf
Ibu, sebelumnya Ibu sudah pernah kesini atau ini pertama kalinya?)

Ibu Pasien : This is the first time. (Ini pertama kali).

Perawat 2 : If this is the first time, may I borrow your son’s Identity Card, Mam? (Jika ini
pertama kali, bisakah saya pinjam KTP anak Ibu?).

Ibu Pasien : This is my son’s ID card. (Ini KTP anak saya).

Perawat 2 : Thank you Mam. I borrow this ID to be copied.

Here Mam I return your ID. Please don’t lose it. After that, please fill in this
form. (Terima kasih Ibu. Saya pinjam dulu KTPnya untuk di foto copy. Ini Ibu
saya kembalikan KTPnya. Jangan sampai hilang ya. Selanjutnya, mohon diisi
formulir ini).

Ibu Pasien : Alright, here it is. (Baiklah, ini formulirnya).

Perawat 2 : OK. Please wait a moment, I will input the data first. This is the evidence of
the registration, please take it to the general polyclinic. Later you will be
called according to queue number. Please go to the 2nd floor then turn right.
(Baik. Mohon ditunggu, saya akan input datanya terlebih dahulu. Ini bukti
pendaftarannya, silahkan Ibu bawa ke poli umum. Nanti akan dipanggil sesuai
dengan nomor antrean. Silahkan Ibu menuju lantai dua lalu belok kanan).

Ibu Pasien : Alright, thank you. (Baik, terima kasih).

-General Poly Room-

Bapak Pasien : Excuse me. Is this general poly? (Permisi. Apakah ini poli umum?)

Staff : Yes, sir. Can I help you? (Iya, Bapak. Ada yang bisa saya bantu?)

Bapak Pasien : This is my son's queue number. (Ini nomor antrean anak saya)

Staff : Okay, sir. Please sit down first while waiting for the queue number to be
called. (Baik, Bapak. Silahkan duduk dulu sambil menunggu nomor
antreannya dipanggil).
Bapak Pasien : Okay. (Baik)

Staff : Queue No. 19. Please come in. (Antrean No. 19. Silahkan masuk)

Bapak Pasien : Ok (Baik)

-Doctor's Room-

Bapak Pasien : Excuse me. Good morning, Doctor. (Permisi. Selamat pagi, Dokter.)

Dokter : Morning. Yes, please sit down first. With ... (Pagi. Iya, silahkan duduk dulu.
Dengan ...)

Pasien : Yes, Doctor. (Iya, Dokter)

Dokter : My assistant will do a TTV examination on the father's and mother's children
first (Asisten saya akan melakukan pemeriksaan TTV pada anak bapak dan
ibuk terlebih dahulu)

Bapak Pasien : Yes, please, Doctor. (Iya silahkan, Dokter)

Asisten Dokter: What's the complaint, little brother? (Apa keluhan, Adik?)

Pasien : I feel weak, dizzy, sometimes feel abdominal pain (Saya merasa lemas,
pusing, terkadang merasa sakit perut)

Asisten Dokter: Since when is that? (Sejak kapan itu?)

Pasien : Already 2 days ago, Nurse (Sudah 2 hari yang lalu, Suster)

Asisten Dokter: Good. I have already checked blood pressure Little Brother. Next pulse. (Baik.
Saya sudah memeriksa tekanan darah Adik. Selanjutnya

Nadi) Pasien : Okay, Nurse (Baik, Suster)

Asisten Dokter: This is the result of the examination, Doctor (Ini hasil pemeriksaannya,
Dokter)

Blood Pressure 110/80 mmHg; Temperature 37,5°C; Pulse rate 75x/minute;

Respiration rate 18x/minute.

Dokter : How does Little brother feel today? (Bagaimana perasaan Adik hari ini?)

Pasien : I feel dizzy, Doctor (Saya merasa pusing, Dokter)

Dokter : The other complaints? (Keluhan yang lainnya?)

Pasien : Stomach ache (Sakit perut)

Dokter : What did you eat before? (Apa yang kamu makan sebelumnya?)

Pasien : I ate some snacks on the roadside eatery (Aku makan jajan dari pinggir jalan)

Dokter : Maybe you're eating contaminated food. Because of diarrhea, you’ve lost
plenty of body fluids. (Mungkin kamu makan makanan terkontaminasi.
Kemungkinan kamu diare, karena kehilangan banyak cairan tubuh)

Ibu Pasien : Is it dangerous, Doctor (Apakah itu berbahaya, Dokter?)

Dokter : No. Drink water regularly. Fruit juice is fine too. Avoid caffeine, dairy
products, and solid foods at least till evening. And get plenty of rest. (Tidak.
Minum air secara teratur. Jus buah juga baik. Hindari kafein, produk susu, dan
makanan padat sampai malam ini. Istirahat yang cukup)

Dokter : I will prescribe medicine and 1 syrup (Saya akan meresepkan obat dan 1

sirup) Dokter : Do you’ve any other questions? (Apakah ada pertanyaan?)

Ibu Pasien : No, doctor. Thank you. (Tidak, dokter. Terima kasih)
