dan tantangan dalam industri Pelumas di Indonesia bertajuk
Collaboraction “Empowering People and Machines with Innovative
Lubrication Technology”. Dalam acara ini, PT Pertamina Lubricants
akan berbagi ilmu, pengalaman, dan wawasan tentang pemanfaatan
teknologi pelumasan inovatif untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan
produktivitas alat berat sekaligus mendorong pertumbuhan bisnis
yang berkelanjutan.
Peserta akan mendengarkan keynote speech dari Direktur Utama

PT Pertamina Lubricants dan mengikuti forum diskusi panel dengan
narasumber terkemuka serta berkesempatan untuk berkunjung
ke Lubricants Technology Center dan melihat langsung fasilitas
pengembangan produk berstandar dunia.
Acara ini juga merupakan kesempatan untuk memperluas jaringan

in the Lubricants industry in Indonesia. With the theme of Collaboraction “Empowering People
and Machines with Innovative Lubrication Technology”. In this event, PT Pertamina Lubricants
will share knowledge, experience, and insights on the utilization of innovative lubrication
technology to enhance the performance and productivity of heavy equipment, as well as drive
sustainable business growth.
Participants will listen to a keynote speech from the CEO of PT Pertamina Lubricants and
participate in a panel discussion forum with prominent speakers, and have the opportunity to
visit the Lubricants Technology Center and see the world-class product development facilities.
This event is also an opportunity to expand business networks, build new relationships,
collaborate, and exchange ideas with market leaders in various strategic sectors in Indonesia.

WELCOMING SPEECH
Werry Prayogi adalah seorang profesional yang bekerja di sektor hilir BBM, pelumas, dan produk retail
non BBM lainnya. Saat ini beliau menjabat sebagai Presiden Direktur PT Pertamina Lubricants (PTPL),
perusahaan pelumas dan bahan kimia khusus terkemuka di Indonesia.
Werry bertanggung jawab untuk memperkuat pondasi dan kebijakan bisnis perusahaan, meningkatkan
kekuatan ﬁnansial, mendukung transformasi digital yang berkelanjutan, dan menetapkan strategi masa
depan untuk memenuhi permintaan pasar pelumas dan bahan kimia.
Werry memimpin dan mengawasi semua fungsi termasuk pengembangan perusahaan, penjualan &
pemasaran domestik dan internasional, produksi, distribusi, keuangan, dan banyak lagi.
Sebelum menjabat sebagai Direktur Utama, Werry memangku berbagai jabatan strategis antara lain
Direktur Operasi PT Pertamina Lubricants, Executive GM Regional PT Pertamina (Persero) di berbagai
wilayah di Indonesia tahun 2019 hingga 2021, Manajer Wilayah Penjualan Pelumas dan Direktur Operasi
PT Pertamina Retail di usia 41.
Ia kini telah bekerja dan mengabdikan diri di Pertamina selama lebih dari 30 tahun.
Werry Prayogi is a professional working in the downstream sector of fuels, lubricants and other non-fuel retail
products. He currently sits as the President Director of PT Pertamina Lubricants (PTPL), Indonesia’s leading
lubricants and specialities chemicals company.
Werry is responsible to strengthen the company’s business foundation and policies, improving financial
strength, supporting ongoing digital transformation and setting future strategy to meet the demanding
lubricant and chemical markets.
Werry leads and oversees all functions including corporate development, sales & marketing domestic and
international, production, distribution, finance and many more.
Prior to serving as President Director, Werry serves various strategic positions including Director of Operations
PT Pertamina Lubricants, Executive GM Regional PT Pertamina (Persero) in various regions in Indonesia from
2019 to 2021, Lubricants Sales Region Managers and Director of Operation PT Pertamina Retail at the age of 41.
He has now worked and dedicate himself to Pertamina for more than 30 years.

LTC has integrated facilities, technologies, and after-sales services, including the Product Development
Laboratory (Bench & Engine Test) to support research, additive technology selection, and development

Registration Room & Preparation Room
Registrasi dan perekaman data dilakukan

menggunakan system aplikasi web Oil Clinic untuk
memastikan data sampel sesuai dan meminimalisasi
terjadinya kesalahan data. Preparasi dilakukan oleh
analis yang berkompeten dan telah tersertifikasi
BNSP, memberikan jaminan pengujian yang akurat
dan terpercaya. Lab Oil Clinic memastikan proses
validasi dan verifikasi pengujian dilakukan dengan
baik guna memastikan bahwa data hasil uji bisa
dipertanggungjawabkan secara ilmiah
Registration and data recording are carried out using

the Oil Clinic web application system to ensure the
sample data is appropriate and minimize data errors.
Preparation is carried out by competent analysts and
has been certified by BNSP, guaranteeing accurate
and reliable testing. The Oil Clinic Lab ensures that the
validation and verification processes of the tests are
carried out properly to ensure that the test result data
can be accounted for scientifically

RUANG LAB 1
Ruangan ini berisikan peralatan uji ICP (Inductively Coupled

Plasma) yang digunakan untuk mengetahui logam keausan,
kontaminasi, dan sisa logam aditif dalam sampel pelumas,
sehingga dapat diketahui seberapa besar dampak keausan atas
penggunaan pelumas yang dipakai dalam peralatan mesin

This room contains ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma)

test equipment which is used to determine wear metal,
contamination, and metal additive residue in the lubricant
sample, so that it can be known how much the impact of wear
and tear on the use of lubricant used in machine tools
RUANG LAB 2
Merupakan ruangan untuk melakukan pengujian FTIR (Fourier

Transform Infrared). Dengan alat ini dapat diketahui seberapa
besar degradasi/kerusakan Pelumas dan juga kontaminasi yang
terjadi, yaitu: Oksidasi (reaksi dengan oksigen), nitrasi (reaksi
dengan nitrogen), sulfasi (reaksi dengan sulfur), kontaminasi air,
kontaminasi soot, dan kontaminasi bahan bakar.
LAB ROOM 2
It is a room for conducting FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared)

testing. With this tool it can be seen how much degradation/
damage to the lubricant and also the contamination that occurs,
namely: Oxidation (reaction with oxygen), nitration (reaction with
nitrogen), sulfation (reaction with sulfur), water contamination,
soot contamination, and fuel contamination .

Pengujian water Karl Fischer dilakukan di lab ini untuk

mendeteksi kandungan air dalam pelumas dalam level ppm
(part per million), khususnya untuk pelumas yang diaplikasikan
di peralatan mesin yang sensitif terhadap air seperti peralatan
turbin. Dengan pengujian ini, adanya kontaminasi air dapat
terdeteksi walaupun masih dalam jumlah yang sedikit.
LAB ROOM 3
The Karl Fischer water test was carried out in this lab to detect
the water content in the lubricant at the ppm (part per million)
level, especially for lubricants that are applied to water-sensitive
machine tools such as turbine equipment. With this test, the
presence of water contamination can be detected even though it
is still in small amounts.
RUANG LAB 4 – RUANG PARTICLE COUNT

(OC-4)
Pengujian Particle Counting ISO Cleanliness digunakan untuk

mengidentifikasi jumlah partikel padat yang terdapat pada
sampel pelumas. Melalui pengujian ini jumlah kontaminasi
padatan dan juga efektivitas filter yang digunakan dalam
peralatan mesin, dapat diketahui.
LAB ROOM 4 – PARTICLE COUNT ROOM

(OC-4)
The Particle Counting ISO Cleanliness test is used to identify

the amount of solid particles present in the lubricant sample.
Through this test, the amount of solid contamination and also the
effectiveness of the filters used in machine tools can be known.

Lab pengujian kandungan asam total dan basa total pada

Pelumas. Pengujian TAN (Total Acid Number) digunakan untuk
pengujian sampel non-engine, memberikan indikasi degradasi
Pelumas yang diakibatkan oleh pemakaian. Pengujian TBN
(Total Base Number) digunakan untuk pengujian sampel engine,
memberikan indikasi sisa aditif yang dapat menetralisasi asam
sisa pembakaran dalam mesin. Kedua pengujian tersebut dapat
digunakan untuk menentukan apakah Pelumas masih dapat
dilanjutkan pemakaiannya atau sudah harus diganti.
LAB ROOM 5
Lab testing of total acid and total base content in Lubricants. The
TAN (Total Acid Number) test is used to test Non-engine samples,
providing an indication of Lubricant degradation caused by usage.
The TBN (Total Base Number) test is used for engine sample
testing, providing an indication of residual additives that can
neutralize residual acids in the combustion engine. Both of these
tests can be used to determine whether the lubricant can still be
used or must be replaced.

Viscosity merupakan parameter pelumas yang merupakan

indikator lapisan film yang dapat melindungi permukaan
peralatan mesin. Pengujian kekentalan pelumas pada lab ini
memberikan gambaran perubahan viscosity seiring dengan
pemakaian pelumas, sehingga dapat diketahui apakah pelumas
yang diuji memiliki grade viscosity yang dibutuhkan, atau
berubah menjadi lebih kental atau lebih encer sehingga perlu
dilakukan penggantian.

Viscosity is a lubricant parameter which is an indicator of a film

coating that can protect the surface of machine tools. Testing
the viscosity of the lubricant in this lab provides an overview of
changes in viscosity as the lubricant is used, so that it can be seen
whether the lubricant being tested has the required viscosity
grade, or it becomes thicker or thinner so it needs to be replaced.

Pengujian dengan alat uji suhu rendah, yaitu CCS

(Cold Crank Simulator), digunakan untuk mengetahui
kekentalan pada suhu rendah dan menentukan
apakah pelumas memenuhi kategori Pelumas
SAE 0W, 5W, 10W, atau 15W. Sedangkan pengujian
pour point dilakukan untuk menentukan suhu
terendah di mana pelumas masih dapat dituang,
merupakan salah satu sifat pelumas multigrade
yang mengindikasikan pelumas masih tetap dapat
dialirkan meski di suhu rendah.
Dengan dua parameter ini berguna untuk memastikan

bahwa pelumas masih dapat bekerja di suhu rendah,
khususnya ketika pelumas digunakan untuk negara-
negara dengan musim dingin.
LAB ROOM 7
Testing with a low temperature test equipment, namely

CCS (Cold Crank Simulator), is used to determine the
viscosity at low temperatures and determine whether
the lubricant meets the SAE 0W, 5W, 10W, or 15W
Lubricant category. Meanwhile, the pour point test is
carried out to determine the lowest temperature where
the lubricant can still be poured, which is one of the
properties of multigrade lubricants which indicates
that the lubricant can still be flowed even at low
temperatures.
These two parameters are useful for ensuring that the

lubricant can still work at low temperatures, especially
when the lubricant is used for countries with cold
winters.
