I. Latar Belakang
Industri furniture interior merupakan salah satu industri prioritas atau
unggulan yang menghasilkan produk bernilai tambah tinggi, berdaya saing global
sebagai penghasil devisa negara, dan mampu menyerap tenaga kerja dalam jumlah
yang signifikan. Manfaat dari produk furnitur juga beragam untuk kebutuhan rumah
tangga sehari-hari. Tak bisa dipungkiri bahwa produk furnitur menjadi salah satu
perlengkapan yang sangat dibutuhkan manusia untuk bisa melengkapi kebutuhan
dan peralatan rumah tangga sehari-hari
Rak sepatu merupakan salah satu produk furnitur yang umum dijumpai pada
setiap rumah, karena menjadi sebuah perlengkapan yang dibutuhkan untuk
meletakkan dan menyimpan sepatu. Selain sepatu, rak sepatu juga bisa digunakan
untuk meletakkan alas kaki lainnya. Masyarakat pada zaman sekarang kebanyakan
beraktivitas di luar rumah seperti pergi ke kantor, sekolah, kuliah, olahraga, ataupun
berjalan-jalan santai sehingga seseorang memiliki lebih dari sepasang sepatu untuk
melakukan aktivitas tersebut. Maka diperlukan rak sepatu untuk meletakkan sepatu-
sepatu tersebut dalam satu tempat agar menghemat ruang, terkesan rapi, dan lebih
ringkas. Karena itu saya memilih produk ini untuk produk inovasi untuk digunakan
pada modul 5.
Saya memilih produk inovasi rak sepatu ini dikarenakan produk furnitur ini
biasa digunakan sehari-hari oleh konsumen untuk meletakkan sepatu dan alas kaki
lainnya agar sepatu-sepatu tersebut tidak berantakan sehingga dapat tersusun
dengan rapi. Selain itu, penggunaan rak sepatu juga dapat menghemat ruangan.
Meski begitu produk furniture ini masih tampak biasa saja karena belum ada
pengembangan terhadap desain dari produk, maka dari itu untuk meningkatkan
daya tarik konsumen dari produk tersebut saya menciptakan sebuah inovasi.
Inovasi yang saya berikan pada furnitur rak sepatu ini adalah memodifikasi
desain rak sepatu menjadi bentuk yang menyerupai tangga dengan 3 tingkat dan
pada tiap tingkatnya terdapat 3 kolom sepatu sehingga memiliki kesan bentuk yang
unik, Dengan desain bentuk seperti ini, maka rak sepatu dapat memuat sepatu lebih
banyak hingga 18 pasang sepatu. Lalu rak sepatu dibuat dengan material yang
kokoh agar dapat digunakan olahraga naik turun tangga dan juga bisa difungsikan
sebagai tangga untuk meraih benda-benda yang tinggi. Pada bagian samping kanan

rak sepatu, ditambahkan timbangan yang bisa dilipat agar memudahkan dalam
penyimpanannya. Timbangan ini ditambahkan dengan tujuan agar konsumen yang
setelah berolahraga seperti jogging, basket, ataupun olahraga naik turun tangga
tersebut dapat menimbang berat badannya langsung. Dengan begini rak sepatu
dapat digunakan sebagai tempat sepatu, tangga, dan juga olahraga.
II. Gambar Tampak AutoCAD 2 Dimensi

Berdasarkan rancangan proyeksi yang dibuat, pada tampak atas terlihat
rak sepatu dengan bentuk alas 3 persegi panjang dengan ukuran masing-
masing 72x90cm, 72x60cm, dan 72x30cm dengan lebar tiang
penyangga samping 3cm dan jarak masing-masing tiang penyangga
dengan ujung alas 5,79cm. Timbangan berbentuk persegi dengan
ukuran 30x30cm dengan lebar engsel timbangan 3cm. Lalu layar
timbangan berbentuk persegi panjang dengan ukuran 10x5cm dengan
letak 10x5cm dari ujung timbangan.

Berdasarkan rancangan proyeksi yang dibuat, pada tampak bawah
terlihat rak sepatu dengan bentuk alas persegi panjang dengan ukuran
72x90cm. Timbangan berbentuk persegi dengan ukuran 30x30cm
dengan lebar engsel timbangan 3cm.

Berdasarkan rancangan proyeksi yang dibuat, pada tampak depan
terlihat rak sepatu dengan bentuk alas 3 persegi panjang dengan ukuran
yang sama yaitu 72x3cm dengan 8 tiang penyangga yang berbentuk
persegi panjang dengan ukuran 3x18cm dan terdapat 6 kolom sepatu
dengan ukuran 20x18cm. Timbangan berbentuk persegi panjang
dengan ukuran 30x3cm dengan lebar engsel timbangan 3cm. Lalu layar
timbangan berbentuk persegi panjang yang berukuran 10x0,7cm
dengan jarak 10cm dari ujung timbangan dan timbul 0.2cm dari atas
timbangan.

Berdasarkan rancangan proyeksi yang dibuat, pada tampak samping
kanan terlihat rak sepatu dengan bentuk alas 3 persegi panjang dengan
ukuran masing-masing 90x3cm, 60x3cm, dan 30x3cm dengan 2 tiang
penyangga yang masing-masing berukuran 58,5x18cm dan 28,5x18cm.

IV. Tools yang Digunakan
1. Line berfungsi untuk membuat garis pada sebuah objek yang akan kita desain.
Pada gambar, tools ini sering digunakan untuk garis normal dan untuk melihat
panjang suatu garis tnapa menggunakan dimlin
2. Polyline berfungsi untuk membuat garis. Pada gambar, tools ini sering
digunakan untuk menggambar semua sketsa dari sebelum diedit
3. Linetype berfungsi untuk mengatur jenis garis apa saja yang akan kita
gunakan untuk membuat gambar. Pada gambar, tools ini digunakan untuk
membuat garis maya atau garis bayangan pada gambar rak sepatu.
4. Rectangle berfungsi untuk membuat persegi panjang. Pada gambar ini tools
ini sering digunakan untuk membuat bentuk alas rak sepatu dan alas
timbangan.
5. Fillet berfungsi untuk membuat sudut dari 2 garis menjadi lengkungan
dengan panjang lengkungan yang bisa diatur sesuai ketentuan, Pada gambar,
tools ini befungsi dalam membantu dalam menggambar ujung depan pada
alas rak sepatu.
6. Chamfer berfungsi untuk membuat sisi miring di sudut pertemuan antara 2
garis dengan panjang sisi miring yang bisa diatur sesuai ketentuan, Pada
gambar, tools ini befungsi dalam membantu dalam menggambar tiang
penyangga samping pada rak sepatu.
7. Move berfungsi untuk memindahkan objek. Pada gambar, tools ini digunakan
untuk menyesuaikan letak objek.
8. Trim berfungsi untuk memotong objek dari satu sisi ke sisi lain. Pada gambar,
tools ini digunakan untuk memotong garis bantu saat menggambar.
9. Erase berfungsi untuk menghapus objek yang dipilih. Pada gambar. tools ini
digunakan untuk menghapus objek yang tidak diperlukan.
10. Copy berfungsi untuk menggandakan objek. Pada gambar, tools ini
digunakan untuk menggandakan objek rak sepatu.
11. Array berfungsi untuk memperbanyak objek secara teratur. Pada gambar,
tools ini digunakan untuk memperbanyak objek tiang penyangga pada
gambar rak sepatu.

12. Mirror berfungsi untuk mencerminkan objek dengan ukuran sama dengan
posisi terbalik dan tercerminkan. Pada gambar, tools ini digunakan ketika
menggambar salah satu dari gambar dari proyeksi atas dengan bawah, dan
dengan gambar proyeksi kiri dengan kanan.
13. Ortho berfungsi untuk membuat garis lurus vertical dan horizontal dalam
bidang kerja AutoCAD. Pada gambar, tools ini digunakan ketika
menggunakan tools Line agar garis tidak miring.
14. Pan berfungsi untuk menggeser lokasi pandang tanpa mengubah pembesaran.
Pada gambar ini tools ini sering digunakan untuk mnggeser kertas maya
AutoCAD dan tanpa mengubah posisi garis atau gambar.
15. Esc berfungsi untuk membatalkan perintah yang dibuat. Pada gambar, tools
ini sering digunakan untuk emmbatalkan perintah atau keluar dari sistem
perintah tersebut.
