Abstrak
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa materi Sejarah di SMP Sultan
Agung 1Tirtomoyo Kabupaten Wonogiri Jawa Tengah. Peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian Tindak Kelas
dengan metode pembelajaran Index Crad Match yakni sebuah metode pencocokan kartu. Hasil penelitian
sebelum penerapan Index Card Match terbilang rendah yakni sebesar 67% dengan jumlah siswa tuntas
sebanyak 10. Setelah penerapan metode IndexCrad Match pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar
sebesar 74% dengan jumlah siswa tuntas sebanyak 17, namun belum mencapai indicator keberhasilan 75%.
Dilanjutkan pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan signifikan yakni hasil belajar menjadi 90% dan jumlah siswa
tuntas sebanyak 27.

Abstract
This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in History material at Sultan
Agung 1 Tirtomoyo Middle School, Wonogiri Regency, Central Java. Researchers used Class Action
research with the Index Crad Match learning method, namely a card matching method. The research results
before the application of Index Card Match were relatively low, namely 67% with the number of students
completing as many as 10. After implementing the IndexCrad Match method in cycle I there was an increase
in learning outcomes by 74% with the number of students completing as many as 17, but had not yet reached
the success indicator of 75%. Continuing in cycle II, there was a significant increase, namely learning
outcomes became 90% and the number of students completed was 27.
