BARISAN ARITMATIKA
Nilai selisih yang sama pada
barisan aritmatika disebut beda.
PENGERTIAN Beda (b) = Un-Un-1

Barisan aritmatika adalah suatu
barisan bilangan yang tiap-tiap Keterangan :
pasangan suku yang berurutan Un = suku ke-n
memiliki nilai selisih yang sama Un-1 = suku ke-(n-1)
Suku ke-n Barisan aritmatika

BARISAN
ARITMATIKA Un = a + (n-) b
Contoh Keterangan :
Barisan Bilangan : 2,4,6,8,10,... Un = suku ke-n
a = suku pertama
b = beda
n = bilangan asli yang
menyatakan nomor urut suatu
barisan/ deret
Contoh Soal
Diketahui suatu barisan aritmatika: -7, -2, 3, 8, 13, 18, ....
Tentukan:
a. Suku pertama
b. Beda
c. Suku ke 48
Pembahasan:
Barisan aritmatika: -7, -2, 3, 8, 13, 18, ....
a. Suku pertama (a) = -7
b. Beda (b) = U₂ - U₁
= -2 -(-7)
= -2 + 7
=5
c. Suku ke 48
Un = a + (n - 1)b
U₄₈ = a + (48 - 1)b
= -7 + (48 - 1).5
= -7 + (47).5
= -7 + 235
= 228
DERET ARITMATIKA
Penjumlahan dari suku-suku pertama
PENGERTIAN sampai suku ke-n barisan aritmatika
dapat dirumuskan :
Deret aritmatika adalah jumlah
keseluruhan dari anggota barisan Sn = U1+U2+U3+...+U(n-1)
aritmatika yang dihitung secara
berurutan.
Jika, hanya diketahui nilai a meru-
pakan suku pertama serta nilainya
DERET
merupakan suku ke-n, maka nilai
ARITMATIKA deret aritmatikanya yakni:
Contoh
Barisan Aritmatika
Sn = n/2(a + Un)
8,12,16,20,24,... Maka deret atau
aritmatikanya adalah
8+12+16+20+24+... Sn = n/2(2a + (n-1) b)
Hubungan antara Barisan (Un)
dan Deret Aritmatika (Sn)
Hubungan antara barisan (Un) dan deret aritmatika (Sn)
dapat dilihat pada persamaan di bawah ini
Un = Sn - Sn-1
Keterangan :
Sn = jumlah n suku pertama
Sn-1 = jumlah (n-1) suku pertama
Contoh Soal
Diketahui barisan aritmatika 27, 24, 21, ....
Tentukan jumlah 20 suku pertama barisan tersebut.
Pembahasan
Barisan: 27, 24, 21, ....
Suku pertama (a) = 27
Beda (b) = 24 - 27 = -3
Un = a + (n - 1)b
U₂₀ = 27 + (20 - 1).(-3)
= 27 + (19).(-3)
= 27 - 57
= -30
Sn = n/2 (a + Un )
S₂₀ = 20/2 (a + U₂₀)
= 10 (27 + (-30))
= 10 (-3)
= -30
Jadi, jumlah 20 suku pertama barisan tersebut adalah -30
