DEFINITION OF DG
Dangerous goods are articles or substances which
are capable of posing a risk to health, safety,
property or the environment and which are shown in
the list of dangerous goods in these regulation or
which are classified according to these regulation
Dangerous goods adalah suatu benda atau zat yang
dapat menimbulkan bahaya terhadap KESEHATAN,
KESELAMATAN PENERBANGAN, HARTA BENDA,
atau LINGKUNGAN sebagaimana ditunjukkan dalam
List of dangerous goods atau sesuai dengan
klasifikasi dangerous goods (Doc. 9284 ICAO; IATA
DGR)
Limitation of Dangerous Goods
Divided into four categories
1. Acceptable
(DG dapat diangkut dengan pesawat udara)
2. Forbidden Under any Circumstance
(DG dilarang diangkut dengan pesawat udara dalam
kondisi apapun)
3. Forbidden Unless Exempted
(DG dilarang diangkut dengan pesawat udara kecuali
mendapat persetujuan dari pemerintah)
4. Excepted
(DG yang mendapat perkecualian untuk diangkut
menggunakan pesawat udara)

Barang atau zat yang bila diangkut dapat menimbulkan ledakan, reaksi
berbahaya, menghasilkan api atau perubahan panas mendadak atau
mengeluarkan racun, merusak (korosif) atau gas/uap mudah terbakar
dalam kondisi tertentu
Barang atau zat yang dinyatakan ‘forbidden/dilarang’ dalam tabel barang
atau zat berbahaya (List of Dangerous Goods)
Barang yang dikembalikan ke pabrikan asal karena alasan gagal keamanan

bocor dan diperlakukan sesuai dg aturan DG.

upright position and battery must be disconnected.
If mobility/battery removed:
• Battery must be carried in strong packaging.
• Packagings must be leak-tigh, impervious to battery fluid and be
Protected against upset by use of restraining straps, brackets or
holders.
• Packaging must be protected against short circuits and using
absorbent material.
• Packagings must be marked “BATTERY, WET, WITH
WHEELCHAIR” or “BATTERY, WET, WITH MOBILITY AID”
• Packagings must be labeled with the CORROSIVE and
PACKAGE ORIENTATIONS LABEL.

less than 250 mg of compressed gas in Div 2.2 and
carried as carry-on or checked baggage
The backpack cannot be accidentally activated.
The airbag’s backpack must be fitted with pressure
relief valves
INSULATED PACKAGING CONTAINING
REFRIGERATED LIQUID NITROGEN
Approval required as checked baggage or carry-on baggage.
Referred to as “Dry Shipper” intended at low temperature, of non
dangerous products that are not subject to the Regulations.
The insulated packaging would not allow the build up of pressure
within the container.
The insulated packaging would not permit the release of any
refrigerated liquid nitrogen irrespective of the orientation of the
insulated packaging.

• Must comply with IEC PAS 622826-1 Ed.1 and must not be
refillable by user
• Maximum must not exceed 200ml for liquid; and for liquefied
gas, 120ml for non metallic fuel cell cartridges or 200ml metal
fuel cell cartridges.
• No more than two spare fuel cell cartridges may
be carried by a passenger in carry-on baggage
only
• Must be of a type that will not charge batteries
when the portable electronic devices is not in
use and must be durably marked by the
