 Teori kepribadian sehat menurut Gordon
Allport adalah pribadi yang matang, yaitu
pribadi yang tidak dikontrol oleh trauma dan
konflik masa lalu. Pribadi ini didorong ke
depan oleh suatu visi dan visi itu
mempersatukan kepribadiannya serta
membawanya melewati tantangan demi
tantangan yang terus berubah

Kriteria kepribadian yang matang adalah:

- perluasan perasaan diri
- hubungan yang hangat dengan orang lain
- keamanan emosional
- persepsi yang realistik
- memiliki keterampilan dan kemampuan
untuk melaksanakan tugas
Carl Rogers berpendapat bahwa
pribadi yang sehat adalah
pribadi yang mampu berfungsi
sepenuhnya
Mereka mampu mengalami
secara mendalam keseluruhan
emosi, kebahagiaan atau
kesedihan, gembira atau putus
asa Ciri-ciri dari pribadi sehat ini adalah:
• Memiliki perasaan yang kuat
• Dapat memilih bertindak bebas
• Kreatif dan spontan
• Memiliki keberanian untuk menjadi ”ada” yaitu
menjadi diri sendiri tanpa bersembunyi dibalik
topeng atau berpura-pura menjadi sesuatu yang
bukan dirinya
Pribadi yang sehat adalah pribadi yang
terindividuasi, yaitu pribadi yang
menjadi dirinya sendiri. Mereka mampu
mengungkapkan dirinya secara utuh

Ciri-ciri kepribadian sehat tersebut

adalah:
- Adanya penerimaan dan toleransi
terhadap kodrat manusia
- Dapat menerima apa yang tidak
diketahui dan misterius
- Memiliki kepribadian universal

dalam rangka mewujudkan
individu yang mampu
menyesuaikan diri dengan dirinya
sendiri, terhadap Tuhannya,
serta lingkungan, sehingga dapat
meraih kebahagiaan dunia dan
akhirat.

baik secara jasmaniah Maupun psikologis.
Mengutip pendapat Gowald, Luks & Fleming
mengatakan bahwa orang yg berbuat baik dan
pemaaf kepada sesama dapat memberi efek
positif kepada tubuh dan meningkatkan
kekebalan tubuh, Begitupula sebaliknya.
