 Tujuan Penelitian
1 Untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari pemberian jus sari temulawak terhadap
persentase rasio daging dan tulang pada irisan karkas ayam broiler.

Hipotesa
2 Diduga pemberian jus sari temulawak dapat meningkatkan bobot meat bone
ratio pada dada, paha, punggung dan sayap ayam broiler.
 Pelaksanaan Penelitian
Waktu dan Tempat Penelitian
Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus – September 2022, dan bertempat di
kandang percobaan jurusan Teknologi dan Industri Peternakan Fakultas Pertanian Univer-
sitas Sriwijaya. Analisa kandungan protein daging akan dilakukan di laboratorium jurusan
Teknologi Hasil Pertanian Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya.

Alat
Alat yang digunakan pada peneli-
tian ini berupa kandang litter, tem-
pat pakan & minum, timbangan,
Bahan lampu pemanas, gelas ukur, spuit,
Bahan yang digunakan pada blender, saringan, tatakan, pisau,
penelitian ini yaitu 80 ekor timbangan analitik, kertas tissue,
DOC, sekam, temulawak, labu kjehdahl, erlenmeyer, pipet
pakan, dan desinfektan. tetes, alat destilasi, alat titrasi, alat
destruksi, beaker glass dan alat
tulis lengkap.
 Metode Penelitian
Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri dari 4 per-
lakuan dan 5 ulangan, setiap ulangan terdiri dari 4 ekor ayam broiler. Pemberian jus sari
temulawak secara cekok ke dalam mulut menggunakan spuit yang diberikan tiap hari.
