BAB 01
 Latar Belakang

Dalam sistem informasi akuntansi persediaan barang membutuhkan suatu sistem yang mampu memberikan informasi

untuk laporan persediaan barang secara cepat dan tepat. Untuk membangun sistem tersebut maka diperlukannya suatu

sistem berbasis web. Keunggulan dari sistem berbasis web ini adalah mempermudah dalam menyimpan data pada suatu

database sehingga tidak terjadi kerangkapan data dan kesalahan data karena hanya orang yang memiliki akun saja yang

hanya bisa mengakses, sehingga dari sistem tersebut akan membuat pekerjaan menjadi efektif dan efisien karena program

dapat diakses dimanapun dan kapanpun selama user terhubung dengan internet.

Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah tersebut, penulis memandang penting mengangkat kasus tersebut kedalam tugas

akhir ini dengan judul “Perancangan Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Persediaan Barang Pada Sekretariat DPRD Kota

Palembang”.
 Perumusan Masalah

Bagaimana membuat sistem informasi akuntansi persediaan barang

berbasis web pada Sekretariat DPRD Kota Palembang untuk membantu
mengelola pencatatan persediaan barang?

Batasan Masalah

Penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana membuat perancangan system

informasi akuntansi persediaan barang ATK habis pakai berbasis web pada
Sekretariat DPRD Kota Palembang
 Tujuan

Memberikan masukkan tentang perancangan sistem informasi persediaan

barang untuk mempermudah sekretariat DPRD dalam proses permintaan dan

pencatatan persediaan barang sekretariat DPRD dan menghasilkan sebuah

sistem informasi berbasis web yang lebih efektif, efisien dan tepat.
 Manfaat

1 Diharapkan dapat menambah pengalaman dalam menerapkan ilmu yang

didapatkan selama kuliah.

2 Diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan dan solusi mengenai perancangan sistem

informasi akuntansi persediaan barang pada Sekretariat DPRD Kota Palembang

3 Dapat dijadikan referensi untuk penelitian lainnya dibidang sistem informasi

akuntansi persediaan barang
Agar dapat menambah wawasan bagi pembaca mengenai sistem informasi

Bertempat di DPRD Kota Palembang yang beralamat

di Jl. Gubernur H. Bastari No.2, Kecamatan Seberang

Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah Kota Palembang di bentuk berdasarkan

peraturan Walikota Palembang nomor : 46 Tahun 2016 tentang kedudukan susunan

organisasi, tugas serta tata kerja sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah Kota

Palembang selanjutnya disingkat sekretariat DPRD merupakan unsur pelayanan

administratif kepada DPRD. Sekretariat DPRD dipimpin oleh seorang Sekretaris Dewan

yang merupakan unsur dari pegawai negeri sipil yang secara teknis operasional berada

dibawah tanggung jawab kepada pimpinan DPRD dan secara administratif bertanggung

jawab kepada Walikota melalui Sekretaris Daerah

Perancangan

Perancangan adalah suatu penggambaran, perencanaan, pembuatan, penentuan

proses, data dan sketsa yang diperlukan oleh sistem baru. Perancangan juga
memberikan sebuah gambaran tentang rancang bangun yang lengkap sebagai
pedoman dalam membuat atau mengembangkan aplikasi sesuai dengan
komponen sistem yang terkomputerisasi, tahap ini mencangkup hardware atau
software, database dan aplikasi.
 Sistem Informasi Akuntansi

Menurut Krismiaji (dalam, Tiara Rahmasari tahun 2019) sistem informasi

akuntansi merupakan sistem yang dapat memproses suatu data dan
transaksi guna menghasilkan informasi yang bermanfaat untuk
merencanakan, mengendalikan dan mengoperasikan suatu bisnis

Persediaan

Menurut Muhammad Rasyidan, Zaenuddin (2020) menjelaskan bahwa

persediaan merupakan suatu barang yang dapat disimpan dimana dapat
digunakan guna memenuhi adanya suatu tujuan.
