menjelaskan pendapat penulis tentang suatu topik
atau isu. Isi teks ini dapat berisi analisis atau
penjelasan mendalam mengenai suatu isu.

The social function of analytical exposition text is to persuade the reader or the
listener that something is the case, and to analyse the topic that the thesis/opinion is
correct by developing an argument to support it.

Fungsi dari teks analytical exposition adalah untuk membujuk pembaca,

menarik pembaca atau pendengar mengenai suatu isu, dan menganalisi
thesis/pendapat dengan cara mengembangkannya menjadi argumen untuk
mendukung pendapat tersebut

and indicates the writer’s position
1 THESIS Berisi tentang pendapat penulis mengenai suatu hal, bagian ini juga
mengenalkan topik dan menunjukkan posisi penulis

It contains the arguments to support the writer’s position.

2 ARGUMENTS Bagian ini berisi tentang argumen/pendapat yang mendukung posisi
penulis

It restates the writer’s position to strengthen the thesis, rewrites the main idea
of a text as the closing of the text without invitation or recommendation.
3 REITERATION Ini menyatakan kembali posisi penulis untuk memperkuat tesis,
menulis ulang ide utama teks sebagai penutup teks tanpa
undangan atau rekomendasi.
