real. The presence of an infectious agent lives on the outer surface of the body, or on items
of clothing or other items, not the infection, but the contamination on the surface of the
body or an object.
The following priority measures are critical to reduce the impact of communicable diseases
after natural disasters:
a. Safe water, sanitation, site planning
b. Primary health-care services
c. Surveillance/early warning system
d. Immunization
e. Prevention of malaria and dengue
