PROPOSAL SEMINAR

“Assesing, Monitoring and Managing Abdominal and Thoracic Trauma and Emergency from
Nursing and Midwife Perspective”,
A. Latar Belakang
Pelayanan keperawatan yang cermat, cepat dan terencana merupakan bagian dari salah satu
kualitas yang optimal dari pemberian pertolongan dalam hal kegawat daruratan medis.Dalam hal
ini kegawat daruratan medis bisa berupa penyakit maupun trauma yang bisa menyebabkan
permasalahan yang komplek terhadap fungsi – fungsi vital tubuh yaitu jalan nafas, fungsi nafas,
fungsi sirkulasi dan fungsi otak serta kesadaran.

World Health Organization ( WHO ) menyebutkan bahwa pada tahun 2004, sebanyak 17,1 juta
jiwa meninggal diakibatkan oleh penyakit jantung dan pembuluh darah sedangkan dalam skala
nasional kegawatdaruratan medis seperti penyakit jantung dan trauma telah semakin menonjol yang
menjadi penyebab kematian di Indonesia ( 5,6 % pertahun )

Trauma torak semakin meningkat sesuai dengan kemajuan transportasi dan kondisi sosial
ekonomi masyarakat. Secara keseluruhan angka mortalitas trauma thorax adalah 10 %, dimana
trauma thorax menyebabkan satu dari empat kematian karena trauma yang terjadi di Amerika Utara.
Banyak penderita meninggal setelah sampai di rumah sakit dan banyak kematian ini seharusnya
dapat dicegah dengan meningkatkan kemampuan diagnostik dan terapi. Kurang dari 10 % dari
trauma tumpul thorax dan hanya 15 – 30 % dari trauma tembus thorax yang membutuhkan tindakan
torakotomi. Mayoritas kasus trauma thorax dapat diatasi dengan tindakan teknik prosedur yang
akan diperoleh oleh dokter yang mengikuti suatu kursus penyelamatan kasus trauma thorax.

Pembangunan kesehatan dengan meningkatkan mutu serta kemudahan pelayanan yang


terjangkau diarahkan untuk meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat. Hal ini merupakan bagian
dari upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat. Indikator derajat kesehatan dan

kesejahteraan masyarakat ditandai dengan menurunnya Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI). Kematian ibu
masih merupakan masalah prioritas di Indonesia.

Menurut WHO pada tahun 2010, sebanyak 536.000 perempuan meninggal akibat persalinan.
Kematian ibu di negara-negara berkembang merupakan tertinggi dengan 450/100.000 kelahiran
hidup dengan rasio kematian ibu (AKI) di tahun 2011, 81% diakibatkan karena komplikasi selama
kehamilan, persalinan dan nifas.Bahkan sebagian besar dari kematian ibu disebabkan karena
perdarahan, infeksi dan preeklamsi (Kementrian Kesehatan RI, 2011).

Di Indonesia saat ini AKI masih jauh dari target yang di capai pada tahun 2015 sesuai dengan
kesepakatan sasaran pembangunan milenium. Berdasarkan Survei Demografi dan Kesehatan
Indonesia (SDKI) 2012, rata-rata angka kematian ibu (AKI) tercatat mencapai 359/100.000
kelahiran hidup. Rata-rata kematian ini jauh melonjak dibanding hasil SDKI 2007 yang mencapai
228/100.000 ribu (SDKI, 2012).

AKI di Indonesia masih cukup tinggi, pada tahun 2012 mencapai 228/100.000 kelahiran hidup,
yang mana masih dibawah pencapaian target tahun 2014 yaitu 118/100.000 kelahiran hidup
(Dinkes, 2013).

Dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pengetahuan terhadap penatalaksanaan kegawatdaruratan


medis tehadap pasien dengan pemasalahan trauma

GNPHI menggelar kegiatan berupa seminar dan workshop berjudul “Assesing, Monitoring and
Managing Abdominal and Thoracic Trauma and Emergency from Nursing and Midwife
Perspective”, kegiatan seminar dan workshop ini dapat meningkatkan kompetensi keperawatan dalam
hal penanganan yang tepat dalam kegawatdaruratan, sehingga, sistem penatalaksanaannya diharapkan
menjadi lebih optimal.

B. Tujuan
1. Tujuan Umum
Setelah mengikuti seminar dan workshop ini diharapkan peserta mampu meningkatkan
kompetensi keperawatan dan kebidanan dalam hal penanganan kegawat daruratan medis.

2. Tujuan Khusus
Setelah dilakukan seminar dan workshop, peserta mampu:
a. Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam hal menilai kondisi pasien dengan cepat
dan teliti.
b. Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam penatalaksanaan kegawatdaruratan
abdomen.
c. Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dalam hal managemen penanganan
kegawatdaruratan thorax pada pasien dewasa, ibu hamil.
