ABSTRACT
DISC personality test determines someone’s personality profile only based solely
on Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Compliance, so it requires other
personality tests to support DISC test results. In this research, PAPI (Perception
and Preference Inventory) Kostick test was chosen because in determines
someone’s personality profile based on 20 PAPI Kostick’s personality aspect. So
the combination of both methods is able to produce more reliable personality
description. Naive Bayes method used for clasification of DISC personality test
and Forward Chaining method used for clasification of PAPI Kostick personality
test. Cosine Similarity method was applied in seeking a conclusion on the
placement positions of the candidates. This study aims to built a DSS (Decision
Support System) for prospective employees placement at PT.X with minimum
accuracy of 75%.
Five testing phase was conducted by dividing the data into training data and testing
data to determine the accuracy of DSS. Accuracy was obtained from the results of
DISC test, PAPI Kostick test and recommendation position by DSS. Testing result
was analyzed using confusion matrix to compare data from expert analysis with the
recommendation of DSS. Results from this study demonstrated that the accuracy
DISC test using Naive Bayes method reached 70%, PAPI Kostick test using
Forward Chaining method reached 100% and accuracy recommendation position
of the system using Cosine Similarity reached 90%.
