ABSTRAK
The more rapid development of the internet, the flow of information exchange is faster and easier,
this makes people more likely to communicate via the internet, one of which is social media
Instagram. Instagram has features that are useful for marketing promotion, have a business
account, and have disadvantages such as limited connection, decreased upload quality.
The purpose of this research is to find out how to use Instagram social media as a promotional
media for marketing drinks in Banjarbaru, to overcome anything related to the use of Instagram
as a marketing promotion media, and what solutions can be used in using Instagram as a
marketing promotion media.
Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif Data dikumpulkan
dengan Observasi, Wawancara, dan Dokumentasi untuk Empat Orang informan.
The results showed that the Institutional promotion of media as a promotional media for
marketing drinks in the City of Banjarbaru had produced good promotions for the promotion of
coffee places. There is a problem in Instagram that prohibits ideas and preparation for
promotional activities on Instagram. The solution to the challenge is the place of
extraordinaryity. Coffee will make the team set up their Instagram accounts to be more active in
supporting their products. For this reason, coffee places have Instagram as their promotional
media.
