▪ Procedure text is a piece of text that give us instructions for doing something and Procedure Text is a
text that is designed to describe how something is achieved through a sequence of actions or steps.
▪ Jadi Procedure Text adalah jenis text yang dirancang untuk menggambarkan suatu perintah atau
instruksi tentang bagaimana sesuatu dapat dicapai sesuai urutan atau langkah-langkah yang benar.

❖ The purpose of procedure text is to tell the reader how to do or make something through a
sequence of actions or steps (Tujuan dari teks prosedur adalah untuk memberitahu pembaca
bagaimana melakukan atau membuat sesuatu melalui urutan tindakan atau langkah-langkah).
❖ The social purpose of procedure text is to show how something is done through sequence of
steps which enable the reader to achieve the goal (Tujuan sosial procedure text adalah untuk
menunjukkan bagaimana sesuatu dilakukan melalui urutan langkah yang memungkinkan pembaca
untuk mencapai tujuan)

ataupun yang sekarang banyak beredar diberbagai situs internet?
Lalu pernahkah kalian mencoba mengikuti resep tersebut atau justru
membuat sebuah resep baru?

Nah, salah satu jenis dari procedure text adalah Food and
Beverage Recipe yang membahas tentang isi dan langkah-langkah
serta cara pembuatan dari sebuah resep makanan atau minuman.
Tujuannya agar para pembaca memahami bagaimana cara membuat
makanan atau minuman tersebut.

Ya, contoh berikut ini kita akan membahas resep

dari vegetables salad with peanut sauce atau
gado-gado. Bagian pertama dari sebuah resep

until everything is well mixed. Remove into a mixing bowl.
2. Add tamarind juice, lime juice, and half cup of water. Stir well and add more water to get to the
consistency of peanut sauce that you like.
3. Boil separately the cabbage, long beans, spinach and bean sprouts, potato and egg, than put
aside.
4. Blanched the rest of the vegetable and egg in boiling water and remove with slotted spoon.
5. Place a portion of each salad ingredient onto a serving plate/bowl. Serve the peanut sauce and
mix well. It can be eaten warm or cold.
