Some researchers argue that a major part of knowledge asset in a company is kept
individually in the mind of employees. Therefore, companies are required to
encourage their employees to initiate knowledge sharing among them. The
competence of the organization to drive the initiative plays a central role in
disseminating, implementing and developing knowledge.

In this research, knowledge enablers are characterized by socio-technical aspect.
The result shows that the social-related aspect is the only concept that influences
KS behavior. This finding recommends that a company has to create conducive
working environment to support knowledge sharing behavior. Moreover, the
result argues that trust, teamwork, senior management support and self-efficacy
impact positively on KS behavior. Among them, senior management support is
the most dominant enabler. Therefore, senior management participation and
support considerably determine the success of the development of KS activity in a
company.
