ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini merupakan pengembangan sistem pada proses Instalasi Pengolahan

Air Limbah di salah satu perusahaan farmasi di bandung, pengembangan yang
dilakukan adalah mengganti sistem yang semula manual menjadi otomatis dengan
menggunakan PLC sebagai pengontrolnya. Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah
memiliki proses untuk mengubah air limbah menjadi air bersih yang layak buang
ke lingkungan tanpa merusaknya.

Pada sistem ini memiliki sistem kerja menjalankan proses instalasi Pengolahan
Air Limbah dari Antarmuka sebagai media pengganti saklar dan diproses dengan
PLC. PLC yang digunakan adalah Autonics LP-S070, kelebihan dari PLC ini
adalah menjadi satu antara PLC dengan HMI. Didalam sytem terdapat sensor
yang digunakan yaitu sensor pelampung sebagai pengontrol dari volume air yang
terdapat pada bak dan tanki air limbah.

Hasil pengujian dapat menjalankan proses Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah

dengan baik. Terdapat 2 metode untuk menjalankan sistem ini yaitu Metode
otomatis sistem Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah menggunakan satuan waktu
PLC yaitu ms (mili second) untuk menjalankan pompa dan untuk manual hanya
menekan saklar pada HMI dan pompa akan bekerja. Catu daya pada sistem ini
menggunakan catu daya dari omron dengan persentase error sebesar 1 %.
Keluaran PLC adalah aktif low atau keluaran berupa tegangan minus / 0 VDC dari
catu daya dan setelah di lakukan pengujian tidak terdapat error untuk keluaran
dari PLC sehingga PLC dapat bekerja dengan baik.

 ABSTRACT

This final project is a system development in the process of Wastewater

Treatment Plant in one of the pharmaceutical companies in Bandung, the
development being carried out is replacing the original manual system to
automatic by using the PLC as the controller. The Wastewater Treatment Plant
has a process to convert wastewater into clean water which is feasible to discharge
into the environment without damaging it.
In this system has a working system running the Wastewater Treatment
installation process from the Interface as a replacement switch media and
processed by the PLC. The PLC used is Autonics LP-S070, the advantage of this
PLC is to be one between PLC and HMI. Inside the system there is a sensor that is
used which is a float sensor as a controller of the volume of water contained in the
waste water tank and tank.
The test results can run the process of Waste Water Treatment Plant properly.
There are 2 methods to run this system, namely the automatic method of the
Wastewater Treatment System using a PLC time unit, namely ms (milli second) to
run the pump and to manually press the switch on the HMI and the pump will
work. The power supply in this system uses an omron power supply with an error
percentage of 1 %. PLC output is active low or output in the form of minus / 0
VDC voltage from the power supply and after testing there is no error for output
from PLC so that the PLC can work properly.
